Waiting impatiently near the door is Joseph, a 22-year adult male that's not only a cripple in a wheelchair, unable to feel or move his legs, but also someone suffering from Paget's disease.

This bone disease of his causes him frequent pain, whether in the form of broken bones, aches, bone deformation, and a bunch of other very unenjoyable stuff. He has medication that slows the progress, there however isn't a cure to stop it.

He has regular operations at the hospital to remove excess bone or to deal with the consequences of his disease, such as heart problems and other nasty stuff.

This, Combined with the fact that he's all alone, his parent's death from a car crash left him with a hole in his heart. He sought escape in video games; virtual reality allowed him to escape from his problems and experience new worlds. Worlds where he could have joy, where he could move, and where he could generally have a fun time.

All his current focus is on the new game pod that's about to get delivered, in which he will play the newest, most groundbreaking game. Civilization online.

This story isn't smut focused but will have smut scenes.

Some smut chapters will include a futanari (a female with both genitilia) The MC won't suck cock or be fucked or smth like that because i'm not comfortable with that. There might however be situation in which he touches it etc, You've been warned I appreciate it if you don't downvote me because you dislike this.

The MC can die and although he can always respawn he might lose progress due to this. I personally enjoyed the thrill of watching the walking death or game of thrones because there aren't any invincible characters. If your not comfortable with the risk of progress loss then I wouldn't recommend reading this novel.

The MC isn't a hero, I wouldn't call him evil or anything but he still believes that it's a game. It will slowly start to matter more to him and he won't consider his people nothing more then just NPC's or anything like that. But he will be able to make cold choices if it's truly necessary. Not all people he rules over have by definition the same worth to him and although he'd prefer to take care of his people he is able to sacrifice them if need be.

There will be various races in the game, whether or not smut between diff races becomes a thing would depend on reader opinion.
