Maria Lucia Lightwood died in prison.
Convicted of a conspiracy she wasn’t involved in, made to atone for a sin she didn’t commit, Maria was practically waiting for the moment where she could escape from it all. She thought that the end was coming. After two years in prison, at the age of only 19, Maria let death envelop her.
Except that death isn’t the end of her existence. Now a spirit, Maria learned about the world’s greatest secrets, and became a harmless bystander to the machinations that was happening in the world. Roaming the world, performing a spirit’s duty, and even getting to hang out with her dear friends again, Maria was truly happy.
But, this is not that story. This takes place after Maria reincarnates into the modern day as Lucy, at a time where Magic is only the stuff of fairy tales, with all her cheat-like abilities. Watch as she grows up surrounded by love, does what she loves most, and finds love in the world.
P.S. She has had the memory of spirits wiped from her head. Spirits will not play a role in this story.
