The year is 1937, and Avery Alejandra, Belle Delafleur, and Joltin' Jim Ross are the swashbuckling Red Kites. The tight-knit team commands the incredible flying machine known as Cloud Emperor. Together they can solve any problem, for a price. When trouble strikes close to home, and the people of Boot Bay start exhibiting strange changes in personality, two plucky scientists drag them into the mission of their lives. Now, they have to save the world before their reality is forever transformed by a rift that has opened to a dimension without gender roles or inhibitions.
