Excellent SF novel with lots of pioneering, exploring, and human feels. I wholeheartedly recommend this if you like not-laser-blasting science fiction with discovering unknown and weird civilisations and space-faring humans who are in over their heads and trying to deal with the situation as well as their own social and psychological conditions.
