TL;DR -> More than Smut, and more than a great read 5/5
The story starts off with Jaime, someone who seems lost, merely wanting to fit in; To find their place in the world that has left them behind. Originally, I admit to only choosing the book for its smut and romance tags, but once I started reading, and all the way through, I'm grateful to the author, SallyPoppet, for the reading experience; Although, unfinished, and somewhat short-lived.
The story itself was written with a lot of love and detail in order to paint a real world you can imagine. Even the words SallyPoppet chose in their writing had a flow and an invitation to continue reading without losing your immersion or stumbling over repeated words every other sentence. it was never boring, and it wasn't what I had imagined walking in, but I'm thankful it wasn't. If given the chance, this is definitely a book I'd want to pick up, and continue, once there are more pages.
I know life has its ups-and-downs, things get in the way, life happens, and authors someti- most often, get discouraged, trapped within writer's block, or just don't have anymore time for the simple act of sitting down and writing,... but, on the off-chance that you're out there reading this, SallyPoppet, I genuinely love your characters, and appreciate the charisma you gave them. It was a pleasure reading what you have written, -and not just because of the spicy scenes.
