I looked out through the cabin's window and saw the full moon. It was beautiful, illuminating the otherwise pitch-black night. Of course, this light also showed us of our impending doom, but you gotta take what you can get.
Soon after thinking this, a shock reverberated through my body and my vision went dark. No pain, just a terrifying feeling of pure nothingness. And that was it.
