Nice, just nice.

I love how this is the standard villainess swap, but the world building and emotional responses are way better than normal.

Instead of having everyone instantly loving her once she is a tiny bit nice, they think it is a trick. Instead of trying to act different she is keeping her head down while trying to figure out what to do. I also love how abusive parents don't instantly change their ways once she says no.

It is a good non-cliche story and I am enjoying it quite a bit. My own complaint is that there isn't more of it.
