He was the Grand Mage and even a Swordmaster of the Argustioz Empiricus, Liam Fretz, after a lifetime of killing and war, he, under the Empire he served finally unified the Entire continent through his efforts, finally of old age, he simply wished to live a humble lifestyle, away from Politics and warfare inside the Empire.

Yet his Close friend and Ally, maddened by paranoia, couldn't tolerate someone so powerful being alive under the Empire he ruled, betrayed Liam, killing him merciless in Liam's own secluded cabin on the northern reaches.

In his last breath, Liam remembered his life flash before his eyes, from his youth to adult years, he felt them all again as his cabin was burned from the outside, he finally closed his eyes in regret and slowly burned to death.

But is that really the end for someone called the "Devil's Mage"...

Author here: ima say a few stuff about the story, I'm an amateur writer, so don't expect too much.
So the Discretions and warnings:

- Early Chapters has some ounces of Psychological
- MC has a more or less mental Illness that is very important to the story, be sure to guess it
- I will tend to go 'Overboard' with some scenes, so expect some 'R'-rated stuff, also going with a more 'Realistic' approach, though I may not be able to properly describe them.
- Start may be slow, please bare with it and please be patient.
- While I have Tag is [Weak to Strong] that doesn't mean he won't use his head, he is weak in terms of strength and magic (For Now), but he can use his techniques and skills to his advantage.
- Please do note, MC is still a child! He is still a Child for the current pages, so you might read some badly written fight scenes that involves a child getting wrecked.
