The planet Lasstop is under constant siege from a cosmic entity known as the Queen. She can only be kept at bay as long as the people of Lasstop continue to mine a substance known as Astral Dew and disperse it into space. Elegy is a Hallowed Surveyor, one of those with the rare ability to sense the location of Astral Dew, and takes great pride in his role protecting the planet. However, the discovery of an ancient space ship leads to him questioning everything he understands about his world—and himself.
