This novel WAS good then it just keeps and keeps on nerfing the MC like first he’s a slave, his weakness for the god damn species he created was immediately found out, gods decided to nerf him and severely limit his zombie plague (like it can’t fully zombify humans in a world where 95% of it are humans), and I’m not even going to talk about he’s literally being a slave all over again and it’s just annoying like he’s just getting tossed around uselessly he can’t just hide in a mountain and experiment because everyone can teleport him everywhere apparently and even if he did make a abomination the gods would kill it and wipe all knowledge of it or make as weak as an ant so it can’t do anything like come on just make it fun but no it’s just dumb at this pount

This story is about a scientist and some very casual mold it will not at all transmigrate him to a another world as a mold man that is totally not out of it and will not be about cleaning up after people.

When the MC panics and then says he feels nothing, I get annoyed. Personal gripe is MCs whose souls fuse instead of one taking over the other. Also hate prophecies.
Edit: I read a lot further after and yeah, really hate novels like these where the protagonist is nerfed and tossed around like a dishrag just for the story to go the way the author wants it to. I think I got annoyed by the same reason in a novel called something like "A plague rat's tale".
