In regards on how this story parallels with the actual story of gate I would say this version is way better than the original work, The main character while sometimes feels out of character is enjoyable and isn't always the center of attention in which I enjoyed greatly. Because I believe we can all agree we are here to see modern technology sh*t on old technology with a pinch of fantasy. And this series this extremely well. However I often found myself enjoying the indirect conflicts rather as to the direct conflict often felt repetitive. Netherless, this story world building is extremely well done for a linear narrative that branches off. In which I mean there is a clear cut goal however expands and blooms, to make this beautiful. However the one think I didn't like was too much slice of life
