In the advanced world of Terra, Field General Rove was hailed as a genius at warfare. With a perfect combat record and commanding the legendary Te'Vau regiment of super soldiers, he seemed invincible. However, everything was about to change.
One fateful morning, Rove awoke in an entirely different reality as Arlan, a twelve-year-old orphan in the enchanting realm of Althea. Remarkably, he retained all the memories of his past life, a knowledge of modern technology, video games, war tactics, combat experience, and an innate charisma. Armed with these advantages, he embarked on a bewildering journey to unravel the mysteries of his arrival and find a way back to Terra.
And in this realm of Althea, magic, mythical creatures, elves, and sprawling kingdoms reigned supreme. Arlan's modern knowledge and training set him apart as he utilizes these advantages in many different situations.
Through years of challenges and adventures, Arlan transformed from a bewildered teenager into a formidable hero, amassing a loyal following and even finding himself entangled in a bit of romance. Yet, his ultimate goal remained unchanged: to fulfill his destiny as Arlan and return home as Rove. As he delved deeper into the mysteries of Althea and Terra, he uncovered the intricate web of fate and the profound impact he had on both worlds.
The Immortal General is a thrilling tale of an overpowered protagonist, epic monster-slaying adventures, the mastery of magic, the growth from adolescence to adulthood, city-building, intricate war tactics, and the enduring themes of leadership and destiny. Join Arlan Rove on his extraordinary journey, where the boundaries between two worlds blur, and the fate of both hangs in the balance.

Structure, grammar and phrasing are all top class. Flows very well. I'm sure it's one of the best you'll find on this site from this aspect.
The story seems pretty exciting so far, and I haven't been bored reading even once.
This is definitely one to give a go.

The Immortal General is a hidden underrated gem! I'm surprised this series isn't more popular.
Here's what I liked about it after reading all the way to Chapter 27 in one sitting.
When MC was a special ops soldier, the military regulated his emotions. So when he's Isekaied, his emotions aren't regulated anymore. MC realizes this many times and it helps keep him interesting.
Here's what I didn't like!
Anyway, I can't wait for the next chapter!

Wow.
Like a previous commenter wrote, I'm surprised that this series isn't more popular on this website.
I very much enjoy how the author tends to lead us down an arguably predictable path, but then completely subverts it without a second thought. These scenes are always very descriptive (to a fault at times, I'm looking at you chapter 25) and keep me on my toes. I am always wary of yet excited at what might lie in the next chapter!
Although the dialogue and interactions between characters could be flushed out more, I thoroughly enjoy the world and story this author has been weaving. I can't wait to see how this ends!

I don't know what the other reviewers ware reading but it was not this story.
The character interactions feel like filler, the story jumps around focusing on nothing with this pointless time skips.
And most of all only chapter 3 and already all the other characters are being dragged down portrayed as useless so that the MC can shine.
