Species name: Zevurn
Height/Weight range: 6-8ft, 100-150lbs
Typical appearance: The above reference is the general structure of a Zevurn, but they have several subspecies that resemble bees, wasps, spiders, etc. They speak in buzzes and hums that can be translated by modern translator devices.
Home system and planet: Vizantium, Zevuria System
Government and imperial size: As a collective, their reach spans over 400 star systems, but they are split between several hives that have their own forms of governance, though generally ruled by Queens. However, the hives also have a collective council of Queens to handle foreign policy and inter-hive disputes.
Description: The Zevurn are a hive-like society that value the well-being of the collective over oneself, though some hives are more fine with individual freedom than others, and there are many Zevurn who live outside the hives. They were amongst the first to arrive on the galactic scene, due to their ability to collaborate on grand scales, allowing them to construct spaceships quicker and more adeptly than anyone else.
Traits:Strength – Due to their size and structure, Zevurn have greater strength than most species and can carry larger and heavier objects.
Speed – Due to being quadrapedal and flight-capable, as well as light in weight, Zevurn are surprisingly fast.
Resilience – Due to their structure, Zevurn are a bit more fragile on average than most species when it comes to being struck.
Natural Flight – The Zevurn are rivals to the Kocran in terms of flight. They are not quite as fast, but they have one notable advantage – being able to hover in place for extended periods with incredible stability, allowing them to perform their work in the air without issues.
Construction and Engineering - The Zevurn are the galaxy's finest builders of superstructures, constantly innovating, seeing construction as an art form in and of itself. Zevurn ships are known for their unique designs, performance, and durability, and the Zevurn proudly boast the achievement of the construction of the first Dyson Sphere in the galaxy.
