Byleth's father, and former Captain of the Knights of Seiros. He tends to be serious at times, though loosens up around those he cares about. He's not always the best father, but certainly tries his best.
In battle he's ruthless to his enemies and is akin to an unstoppable force. He has a reputation as the strongest knight alive, earning the title 'Blade Breaker'.

Jeralt's wife and Byleth's mother. She is a beautiful young woman of twenty with flowing green hair and eyes. She has a naturally quiet demeanor but blooms like a flower when with those she loves.
Raised in the monastery from a young age, she has a deep commitment to the faith and the Goddess above.
The lieutenant of the New Dawn Mercenaries formed by Jeralt. He is a bright young man with reddish orange hair, hazel eyes, and a constant easy smile on his freckled face.

A continent made up of three nations and a central church: The Adrestian Empire, The Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and The Leicester Alliance. Those of Fódlan largely keep to themselves, not mingling much with nations outside their borders unless absolutely necessary. Similarly, the happenings of Fódlan are largely a mystery to those in the wider world.

The largest nation in Fódlan, it encompasses the southern portion of the continent. Founded in Imperial year 1, it boasts a history of over 1000 years.

Much of the terrain in Faerghus is frigid and nigh inhospitable, making it tough for those who live there. Similarly though, the citizens are equally tough to deal with these conditions.
