Sierra Chelsi is alone in the world, on the run for a murder she freely admits to. And no matter how badly her abusive father deserved what he got, the local sheriff is determined to make her pay.
As deputies close in, Sierra flees into an unfamiliar patch of woods and comes face-to-face with a faerie queen who offers sanctuary for a price.
The young werewolf is still days away from the full moon and minutes away from a jail cell, so she accepts her first fae bargain to become the Raven Queen's new pet.
Time will tell if placing herself under the magical power of a fae queen was a more merciful choice than being hauled off in the back of a squad car.
Either way, the Raven Queen has plans for her new pet, and Sierra will discover the full weight of the price she paid to substitute a mortal jail cell for a room in the royal palace full of immortal tricksters eager to wind her into their own games.
EDIT: The author has contacted me to demand this review be taken down, and has informed me the story is still available on AO3 and Reddit. The review is staying up, but good to know there is an alternative, even if the author seems intent on not letting people know.
I'm sure this story is really good, but I can only read to the third chapter.
Maybe this is me being an idiot, but I feel like I've been tricked. I decided to read this book after someone recommended it to me, and I noticed the "Book 2 announcement" chapter, which made me think that the book was complete at 3 chapters. I didn't think much of it, since I know some authors write some really long chapters, or it could have simply been a short story.
I was thus really surprised to find out, after reading those 3 chapters, that the author had decided to remove most of the book from the website in order to publish it on Amazon, which leaves me to wonder what the point of this story still being up is.
The only thing I can think of is that this page is now simply meant to be a bait and switch, a way to advertise the book so that you may go and buy it. The thing is, nowhere on the page does it say that the chapters are not all available. The page even says the book is "completed"! (EDIT: The author has switched the story to "Hiatus" after reading this review.)
Admittedly, the author is going to publish book 2 here, I believe, but what does that change in the end? We still cannot read the first book, and so all the readers that will be brought here through the front page, the search feature or the "recently updated" section will only find a story that they have to buy to access.
This all feels extremely dishonest and I am honestly really disappointed. Being published is a fantastic thing, but if you're going to be shrewd enough to remove the book from Scribblehub, where it used to be publicly available, while still keeping the page up with only the first three chapters, at least have the decency to let people know that the book is not actually complete, and that it has to be bought on Amazon.

Definitely not for those who like to see a dominant MC. This MC is very much submissive, so if you like submissive MCs with the occasional rebellion, this is it. Definitely a tailored and somewhat niche audience.
While MC is powerful, they're not completely overpowered. If you want overpowered MC, go read another story - this one is nowhere near the top of the food chain in terms of power levels.
Overall, good story if you don't mind it being catered to a specific type of audience. Definitely not your typical enter-into-supernatural-world kind of story, but the MC does have enough power to do what she wishes (somewhat) - as long as it doesn't contradict what the queen wants.

A nice relaxed read.
The story has a simple wish-fulfillment premise with a submissive MC filled with lot of fluff which make the story ideal for a leisurely read.
My only issue was the blurb was a bit misleading. I expected court intrigue, cloak and dagger stuff, but the premise kept simple to make the romance enjoyable.
The author's prose is almost on par with tradpub and with each chapter the prose improved significantly.
I hope the author will continue to publish more.
