Eric is a regular kid to a single mom, doing his best to figure out what to do with his life now that college is fast approaching,
all the while living in the shadow of his late and celebrated father.
During the First Responder's Parade, an explosion rocks the city, and before the local superhero Penumbra gets to the scene,
Eric rushes in, hoping to live up to the legacy he was left with.
Just barely surviving, rescued by Penumbra, his life is about to change dramatically.

While this story is written to stand alone, it takes place a year after the events of Penumbra, and will be better served if you read that one first.
