This story reminds me of eating a mcdonald's cheese burger. Pretty much the entire thing is filler and no real meat in it. You could skip over half this story and still know everything that's going on. Along with each chapter being stupidly short and half of said chapter is either overly detailed world building or filler to pad out the chapters with nothing really pushing the story along.

The start is interesting from there tho its really boring. The MC lacked creativity. He had the power to literally do anything. There has to be a limit in his powers, something that he doesn't found interesting apparently. The first thought that went into my head when I know what his power is what are the limits. He knew what can he do, but what can't he do? Can he create something that he doesn't even know? Like an entirely new mineral? A new type of lifeform? Body Modification maybe? Shoot lasers out of his ass? These are things that in my opinion are more interesting than going to school on an under developed world. This novel lacked creativity. To be able to do anything, anywhere, anywhen and he decided to create a random dungeon. I'd rather see him destroy a planet for sh*t and giggles than this.

Interesting premise and a pretty solid start on the MC's background and character and then it pretty much crashes into instant OP wish fulfillment. This isn't the path of a God, this is instant Godhood put into the hands of the most unimaginative MC I think I have ever met. Able to create/do practically anything and their first thought is create a bog standard dungeon ripped practically from a quick start D&D campaign where the DM just wanted to make an impossible dungeon, one just for the lols and never to be actually used because it sucks all the fun out of the game by being literally impossible while also being basic to most basic degree. All this power in the hands of a wall of dry white paint.

The main and decisive problem of this work is that it is boring. The second is in the gloom of the author, not in the fact that the plot is gloomy, but in the fact that the author himself is full of gloomy emotions, this is felt.

And yes, you can say as much as you like that a work has great potential, but when the reader understands that he himself is able to make everything much more interesting... After all, if the reader's imagination is so much more effective in entertainment than this work, an effect is created when efforts to coming up with something less than the effort it took to read this boring text.

As a result, there is nothing surprising in the fact that as a result, any interest in this work disappears. Who wants to read some dark and boring work? If the OP protagonist is not able to make his life colorful, then it is always the author's fault that he himself is not able to add color.

Wanted to like this novel, but MC's stupid Cheat skill was a turn off, create everything out of nothing, no limitations or restrictions, boring. Liked some of the details about the environment/people but damn, don't need constant 4 or 5 chapters of it.  Also sometimes it takes 4 or more chapters to get something or an action rolling, which gets annoying over time. If u like no holds bar, do whatever the fudge u like with no limit and thought process then this novel might be for you.

Preface: I have read both the original version of 'Creation' and the updated caught up version on Royalroad and am thus biased to some degree. However, I do think this is a good improvement over the original and worth your time regardless. Creation: The Path of a God is not a perfect story. It is fundamentally flawed in some aspects, those noteably being a lack of distinct characterization for the MC's minions in particular, relatively serviceable (albeit not astounding) dialogue, and a tad too much of telling in place of showing (namely in response to the emotions/feelings of characters, which I feel could be sublimated by physical gestures instead). However, despite that, I still think the story itself is very enjoyable. Partly in due to its rapid-fire pace, the story manages to cover a lot of ground in quite a short time, while introducing novel concepts along the way. It also works very well as a 'power-fantasy' story, given the relative strength of the MC in the world. Overall, I would recommend to anyone who likes a more casual power-fantasy who's not afraid to flaunt what it is with an interesting concept underlying it.
