The good, the bad, and the ugly..... Also read Shadow107  and Vendre's review, I liked it!

The good: The comedy is really good! The fact the MC is Keba. The fact he is a devil and in a peerage. His awesome ass familiar! He is a drunk! He is in the main plot. Grayfia did not have a kid! He makes Bleach swords.

The bad: He gives no girls any commitment [NO HAREM as of review] and is a male whore [literally]. Sleeps with most anything [Rizer's sloppy seconds ew]. The constant main cast bashing primarily Rias [he bitches constantly about her but he could have trained her from childhood but did not just BECAUSE!] He reaches Ultimate class with no real effort [plot armor/Goku training]

The ugly: He is a real piece of crap [a true devil-super edgy].. like he is the twin brother of Cao Cao!

Lame, edgy, wish fulfilment with decent grammar.

If you are looking to turn your brain off then this is for you. 

The MC gets insanely powerful in only a few chapters with little to no effort (all development is off screen) and does nothing but sh*t on rias and brood in the corner. 

I like the development with riser but to everyone else the MC is a complete asshole. Instead of helping others for his own benefit (like making rias stronger to maybe include her into his own harem or forces) he instead patronizes everyone else and acts like a complete loner. 

I love smart and calculating MCs but this is simply not for me

It's good. If you like a calculating MC, you may just like this.

The grammar, while not perfect, is more than readable. 

The author seems to dislike Rias and Issei. The story does bash on the original characters a bit. If you don't like that, you've been warned.

It's quite early on but so far it has offered a different perspective on Highschool DxD. The MC actually befriends Riser (insert shock and horror here) ! Rather than being vilified and a target of hatred, you can see Riser's view and Rias' stupidity. Rather than the MC seeing her as a 'waifu' to collect, he comments on her idiotic and childish decisions and disagrees. Hell, he actively goes out of his way to avoid her.

Most prominently, he actively wants to get out of her peerage. In this fic, the devil pieces have obedience/ loyalty programmed into them which makes the peerage members loyal if their willpower is weak or they don't know about it ahead of time.

Anyway, good fic. Would recommend. 

I just hope the author doesn't drop this one.

I don't agree with Harem-Fan on a lot of his points, so I'll respond to each of his negative review cause what he disliked I really enjoyed.

This isn't even a negative point in my opinion it doesn't feel forced and isn't even a major plot point just an offhand comment from time to time on how he has s*x with milfs. As for the Rizer's sloppy second it's not really like that.? I mean he's harem and him have no real commitment they just have s*x with each other nothing beyond that it's not even really a bad thing. I like it shows he's not really ready for any actual meaningful relationship and is simply horny lol.

The Rias and Issei bashing... Is perfectly justified even without the minor/major changes that the author made. Rias is very stupid she's not evil Kiba's hate for her isn't entirely justified but she is beyond stupid in both the show and the story. Issei is very very annoying and is dangerously annoying at that you can't spy on girls changing and get away with a slap on the wrist... My main problem is the Sirzech bashing sure we have reason's to hate him but the "He wants to f**k his sister" and it's ruining his everything is kinda idk fcked. Heavily implies that it ruins his relationship with his wife and the other satans. Also, Sirzech seems kinda dumb when he's supposed to be Devil Jesus their fking messiah yet Rizer clearly fear him retaliating against his family. (I do wanna say that the training rias parts makes no sense since Sirzech is watching him 24/7 and there's really no way to cure stupidity)

The point I kinda agree on but not really is how he got so strong so quickly... It does feel quick I'm not gonna lie he unlocks a juggernaut drive in like a few months which is bonkers but Il like to mention that after 9 years he's still only ultimate class it's not wholly unrealistic too Issei went from nobody to destroying a mountain in a few days and then unlocked balance breaker within the same month. And even Tobio went from nobody to one of the strongest being in the verse really quickly.

Good story telling with a mature, not gay MC. Ignoring that one time with Asia, the story overall isn't cringe at all and mostly follows the main plot with the MC doing a lot of side plot on his own. Basically the MC has his own story while still following the main DXD story. So the overall story isn't super original bit it also isn't so bad to the point of the MC becoming the 3rd wheel. All in all a good read.

PS: Harem-Fan is mad that the MC isn't a SIMP like he is.
