A boy wakes up in the middle of the woods with no idea of who or where he was. Read how he thrives to live and gain a purpose amidst the never ending chaos in the supernatural community of Beacon Hills.
Honestly it is different than other fanfictions, in a good way. It feels like reading a book about TeenWolf but with another character added instead of a story about a MC who reincarnated. 5/5 so far (chapter 69) great pace no fillers, great relationship between the FL and MC, the MC knows his sh*t so no beta MC. So far no harem but it somehow feels like the MC and FL are going to adopt their best friend into their relationship hahahah, which for some reason I don't feel opposed to it considering that I'm not a hard fan of harem. Overall it's great and there's no stup*d teen drama more like real drama.
First, there are some cons in the story, especially in the beginning where our MC isn't very 'alive, ' always using one or two words. However, this changes as the story progresses. He becomes more interactive, fun, and a bit too bloodthirsty for my taste, but it's due to his species. This aspect should have been presented in a calmer way in the story. At least, I shouldn't have discovered this through the author's notes, right? It's a great reread for those of you who have already watched Teen Wolf, especially if it was a while ago. It evokes nostalgia and focuses more on bestial combat and the exploratory side of the characters' skills. It also delves into morality, which is very different from humans. Unlike what we see with Scott, where not killing is emphasized, here, killing is about necessity, demarcating territory, showing strength to others, seeking revenge, forming bonds, and embracing one's true nature.
Now, there isn't much of the mystery that has always been present in the series if you've watched it, at least not so far. In recent chapters, a new mystery has been introduced, which excites me. What leaves me confused is that our MC is getting strong too quickly. In a short time, there won't be much that threatens him. However, I'm curious to know how the author will address this.
Another thing that would appeal to the author is giving more prominence to Scott and Stiles, who are often left aside. It's important to clarify the relationships they have with the girls.
SPOILERS
Honestly, the MC always states that he will never love anyone other than Malia, but I'm a bit concerned because they seem very dependent on each other, which can be toxic. I hope they break up, explore other relationships, and, with more maturity, rekindle their relationship. This 'critique' became quite lengthy, but it's because I've become deeply engrossed in this world and I truly admire the author's work.
The story is fun and engaging, but to understand it, you have to watch the show shortly before or have clear memories of it, because the lack of information about time, who is talking or where can be confusing at times, for example, one paragraph they secretly hug each other in high school discussing something, and the next paragraph they continue their discussion, and then you realize that the scene is not the same because they're at home in their bed after a good f**k, or I was allowed to have a full discussion without the name of the guy. People, to tell you about the last paragraph of the chapter who he's talking about, otherwise we have scenes you wonder why he's talking about as you don't have the sequels that go with it, like the scene with Scott and his buddy digging in the old Hales house, then you move on to another scene and we forget about it and several others
I'm just giving my early review rn. It's interesting. But I swear I'm hating how much this author is just skipping over. Like our MC becoming a WW, or his and Malias first time. Stuff like that is generally important to a person's growth, no matter how anticlimactic it is. It's not something I would drop the story over. But it is just annoying.
Coming back to this review, I can say I enjoy this story, despite having never seen the show. Which is also what I hate the most, I'm enjoying all the OC characters. But I just don't like the ones from the show. Though, that's just my personal preference.
Hello, I am Ray Gremory, and I think… I killed Rias Gremory…
I am the second son of Duke Zeoticus and Duchess Venelana Gremory. I apparently was born when Rias should have been. I am the only other child my parents have, so that
