After learning about my girlfriend's infidelity, I got drunk and woke up in the world of the novel NC-17.
I became a character who is not even included in the extras of the novel — the useless and unnecessary daughter of the Duke de Valt. However, I didn't care about it, because I knew what this world was waiting for ahead.
Soon the Dallas Empire will be mired in chaos, and in order to survive it, I decided to sit quietly in the estate enjoying a luxurious life. Everything went according to plan, until one day I made just one fatal mistake.
A year after my rebirth, I accidentally found a girl in the forest. Out of pity, I sheltered her and made her my servant. We lived together until I found out that this is the main villain who was supposed to die at the end of the novel. But because of my interference, the plot of this damned book continued with me!
I urgently have to run! But where…?!
After all, this crazy woman is now stalking me.
«Where are you going, lady?»
— I… just went out for a walk.
— Take a walk? The border of the empire is not the best place to walk. Let me walk you back.
With the sword in her hand, I didn't have a chance to refuse.

This is a very fun story, and I would have rated it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that I'm 99% sure this was machine translated from chinese.
I don't know if this was stolen or not (very probably yes), but it seems that sloppy attempts at erasing evidence of it being translated from chinese have left remnants of chinese mannerisms and the fact that the original chinese names have been seemingly swapped with european ones.
I will look around jjwxc (a big webnovel chinese website) to see if I can find the original story and update this review if I do so.
Edit 1: I have not found the novel, but I have archived the chapters just in case there's some evidence clean up.

I have no clue how to write a review for this novel so I am just going to list every thing that occurs in each chapter which makes it bad. The dialogues don’t use quotation marks, every chapter repeats half of the previous chapter, there are no descriptions, sentences repeat multiple times with only slight changes, the writer can’t seem to keep names straight as several characters have had their name spelled differently every time they are mentioned (one character had 4 different spellings in the same chapter), it reads like it is a MTL or purely is A.I. Written, and overall it is not a five star novel.
IDK if that one guy is on something or is a fake reviewer but this thing is barely readable. It could just be the use of — and << instead of actually quotations or the fact that every dialogue is interjected by useless words or thoughts with no indication that the dialogue was cut. That is another issue, at no point is their an indicator of when the MC is having an actual thought or if it is just the really bad 1st PoV writing.
This thing can’t even be called a 2 star novel. Grammar is 0.5, Plot is 0.5, World building is non-existent, Characters are 0.5, and every other metric one could use is at 0 or 0.5 stars. The writer needs to fix this from the ground up for it to be even consider worth reading.

The plot is fun and interesting, but my God, the writing is horrible. But I'll get to that later.
The MC is quite funny. Her personality is that of an extrovert with no shame. She says whatever bullsht to get her way, but that doesn't mean she's smart. She's a wreck, and I love it. The FL is cold-blooded, not even the CEO type. She's just a murder + yandere. Their dynamic is quite funny tho. The character I appreciate the most, however, is the Mc's male friend. He fully understands how pathetic he is and is sincerely just waiting for his end because he can't take being reincarnated anymore. All these details make the book quite enjoyable—HOWEVER.
I can't ignore the writing style.
The sudden switch in POVs, the talking formatting not using "quotation marks" but —dashes— and《what ever the fck this is》. They're not even keeping it consistent. It switches a lot, like in one sentence, both of them are used.
Overall, it just hurts my soul. I tried so hard to endure, but I just can't take it anymore. Another reviewer mentioned that this may just be a sad attempt at fixing a Chinese MTL. I must say, that is an insult to MTL. At least with mtl, I only have to worry about grammar. The author writes like they lack vocabulary context (?), as someone who has English as their 2nd language, I completely understand the struggle, but the way they use words in the wrong context is sending me.
Overall, It was a headache. I would recommend this book to others, but unless these fixes are made, just stay clear.
