Royalty. The highest class in Jii’Kalagan society, outside of the Temple.
Empress.
Head of the Temple of Jaezotl. The most powerful position in the Empire of Jii’Kalaga.
Classless. Reserved for foreigners and special cases
Merchant. The highest class below nobility (ussen and hssen).
Peasant. lowest class in Jii’Kalagan society (above the classless)
Acolyte of the Temple of Jaezotl.
Holy People. People of the Temple of Jaezotl and technically the highest
class in the Empire. However, this is the generic term as within the
Temple, there are many classes.
Holy guard (low ranking). Rank-and-file guards/soldiers of the Temple of Jaezotl.
Priestess(Priest) of the Temple of Jaezotl.
Soldier or guard (low ranking). Often shortened to “tanir” which is derogatory.
Nobility. This class has its own internal (informal & formal)
divisions, but ranges from Barons to Dukes effectively and are almost
always landed.
High priest of the Temple of Jaezotl. And yes, if you’re following the
definitions parallel to the non-temple divisions, this means that the
Hssyri river is above this class.

Hssyri (meaning highest holiness roughly) is used.

“All (unified) River” The name of a monument in Ess’Sylantziis, at the confluence of the Hssyri and Greatriver.

Also known as the Serpent God. Deity worshipped in Jii’Kalaga.
Copper Tail, Silver Fang, and Gold Scale are the most commonly used
coins, in order of value. 1 Scale is 10 Fangs and 1 Fang is 10 Tails.
There are also higher denominations of scales used for large-scale
transactions, each with an embedded gemstone. The most valuable of
these, the Emerald Scale, has a value of 1000 Gold Scales.
