John Night has did his duty. He was tired, exhausted, bleeding as multiple zombified humans along with evolved zombies kept charging at him. Trying to kill him, to end humanities greatest hope.

After 30 years of mankind struggling, it ends like this. He has given humanity a chance to fight as he saw the bunker successfully descended thousands meters to the ground, burying itself to await a new future.

A future where humanity has a chance to fight back. A chance to live and survive in this harsh cruel world.

He genuinely smiled as he stopped for a moment, struggling to even stand up and stared at the zombified humans and evolved zombies as they laughed, knowing their victory is assured.

John laughed as well and said his last words. "I'll see you all in Nuclear Hell!" With that, he pressed the button to unleash a nuclear Armageddon to the entire world.

He has done is duty. With this last act, he hopes humanity has a chance to fight back after 300 years. Except, when he died with a smile on his face, closing his eyes, and opening them again, he stared at his classroom 30 years back. With the teacher shouting at him, and realized what was wrong...
