The story begins with a young girl named Morsia Ravenwood appearing at Hogwarts in Tom Riddle's fifth year. But Morsia is not just any transfer student - she's Death herself, on a mission to change Tom's tragic destiny. Can Death truly change a person's fate? Will power-thirsty Riddle change his ways? Find out in this gripping tale of magic, friendship, and the power of choice.
Personally, I quite like the story. The actions of the characters felt real, as if they have real emotions and personality.
Although, I feel like the plot isn't really going anywhere after the prologue as the only things that have happened are things that will happen normally.
The unique part of the story that really felt original is in the prologue,
Where the High Angel of Death seems to be planning something (and then probably possessing/reincarnating/whatever into the body of Morsia Ravenwood (?).). After that, it really is just a normal school life with no abnormal stuff happening.
Morsia hasn't really shown any semblance to 'Death' itself that appeared in prologue so I'm kinda confused. Also, she's not cold, nor anti-social like how the tags said it. Which made me think, Is she not the Protagonist? I mean, if Riddle is the Protag then the tags would make sense but the description doesn't really say that.
I'm confused.
Either way, it is better than other mindless fanfics that made me throw up due to the illogical and unreasonable events. In here, I haven't read any event that goes beyond logic and reason
For people who did not read what's contained in the spoiler: the plot/lore of the story is progressing not the fastest for now, so if you don't really need depth in the characters and just want something unique, you might need to find another one.
Basically, you might get bored reading this, but it's worth a try. The premise to the novel is a bit intriguing, after all.
edit1: I probably would have given the story 5 stars, if the plot were to progress faster xD
