They spend their day floating atop Root's canopy, absorbing and purifying the Sun Qi of the atmosphere and releasing it so Root can absorb a purer Sun Qi, which he gives Lumin too so he can cultivate.

Lumin likes mushrooms, they think they are weird.

Unlike his siblings, Tahsm is the personification of Spirit Qi. Once all over the world that Root now inhabits, Spirit Qi finds itself suffering under the curse placed in the world. It fades too quickly, and because Tahsm is made out of Spirit Qi, he too dissipates quickly. 

This led to him living a secluded existence, only being able to leave his father's soul realm for a few hours at a time, always having to go back to rest and recharge. This also hinders his cultivation, which is why he doesn't leave his father's soul realm that much.

Qi Gathering - Stages 1 to 9

The process of one's gathering of qi to create a foundation. 

Foundation Formation - Stages 1 to 9

The process of one's creation of said foundation. This step is crucial for cultivation, for without a foundation, no one can cultivate. A foundation must be sturdy, taking as much time as possible to create, or else the future cultivation might not be great. A minimum of 10 years is the ideal time spending creating the foundation for it to be stable.

Core Formation - Stages 1 to 9

A stage in which the foundation is built upon, where the qi is gathered and fused into a core, a core that automatically attracts qi from the outside world to replenish itself. This is an essential step in the cultivation path, for depending on what type of qi your core is made of, you attract that qi to yourself.

Core Exaltation - Stages 1 to 9

This is the process in which the core expands quickly, creating an explosion within, and being exalted to a higher level. This is also known as internal supernova, where the core becomes a star!

Pale Star Core - Stages 1 to 9

The new core becomes a pale star, a star that barely shines in the inner sky of a cultivator. As you increase your stages, more stars are made to contain more energy within.

Bright Star Core - Stages 1 to 9

As the stars brighten, they get stronger and more energy is gathered by them! At this point, they start to burn, which is the process in which the energy, the qi purifies itself. 

Nascent Soul - Stages 1 to 9

As the energy purifies, the soul itself starts to be purified by the energy of the stars! This is a long and painful process, taking even years to complete depending on one's soul. A pure soul is necessary for cultivation! When the soul gets purified, the soul then stars to shine brightly, signifying that the soul is ready for ascention. 

Brilliant Soul - Stages 1 to 9

The soul is now shining bright like a star, this grants many benefits for the cultivator, but ascension to a higher realm is necessary to increase cultivation further beyond.

Inner World - Stages 1 to 9

At this point, the soul must become a world in itself. The soul needs to make a world with pure qi, so ascension to a higher realm is necessary. One's inner world can be made of any type of qi, but most cannot even achieve this stage, so it is believed that One's world is tbe maximum someone can achieve.

Galaxy Soul - Stages 1 to 9

After ascending to a higher realm with greater and purer qi, the cultivator will then collapse their stars and their inner world, and using that energy they will guide it to form a cloud of stardust within themselves, that stardust will be reinforced as the cultivator grows in stages, until a galaxy is fused with the cultivator's soul! At which point, this galaxy is then condensed in the next Stages.

Supernova Soul - Stages 1 to 9

After condensation, the galaxy will enter supernova, where it will explode alongside the soul of the cultivator! The cultivator has to let his soul spread out from within, whereupon their soul will increase in size and will hold a greater power. In this explosion, the qi is also purified, so if your qi isn't pure enough, you fail and your soul shatters, killing you immediately and making it impossible for you to enter the cycle of reincarnation for your soul is forever lost and scattered to shards.

Inner Cosmos - Stages 1 to 9

At this point, the cultivator needs a lot more qi to continue, so it is recommended for them to ascend once again to a higher realm with larger amounts of qi. This stage of cultivation is where the qi is spread, not gathered, but spread through the soul as far as it can reach! The size of the soul mostly reflects the power one can hold, so the previous stage in cultivation heavily affects this stage as well! The goal here is to fill the soul with qi.

Black Hole Soul - Stages 1 to 9

After the whole soul is filled, the soul itself must be compressed until it becomes a black hole of energy- This black hole will automatically pull energy from the surrounding area, filling it with any qi it can hold, which will be essential for the next phase of cultivation. 

Inner Universe - Stages: Lesser, Minor, Standard, Major, Grand.

To make an inner universe, one will need qi. All types of qi! The minumum must be one core of each qi: Nature Qi, Water Qi, Earth Qi, Air Qi, Life Qi, Death Qi, Soul Qi, Yin Qi, Yang Qi, Demonic Qi, Heavenly Qi, Space Qi, Void Qi, and Pure Heavenly Qi. 

Each core will then be fused to make a universe within! The cultivator must find the balance between each core so the progress may be smooth. 

Multi Innerverses - Stages: Lesser, Minor, Standard, Major, Grand, Immortal, Transcendent.

To reach this point, a cultivator must create more inner universes. Each universe must be different from each other, or they will fight against each other, which can cause a collapse within the cultivator's soul, which can damage the cultivation. At this point, the minumum amount of universes to ascend is unknown, for no one has reached this point in cultivation yet.

The world that Root inhabits has changed drastically due to a curse casted by a powerful cultivator. This curse has caused many deaths, but it also changed the world itself.

Drought of Death - A period of 1 year that happens every 5 years in one side of the world, this is the period in which the soil is filled with Death Qi. It is known that this happens because of the accumulation of Dark Qi from the moonlight every single day throughout the five years period. The Drought happens because of the increase in Yin Qi from the sun in that year period, which enters the soil and fuses with the Dark Qi, creating and spreading Death Qi.

Boundless Bountiful - Right after the Drought, the Death Qi disperses for the Yin Qi from the sun dissipates, making the Death Qi turn back into a delepted Dark Qi. At this point, Earth Qi in enriched by the Light Qi from the sun and at night with the Yang Qi, it produces Life Qi, which in turn dimmers down and makes Nature Qi in an extremely large amount. This amount is so large that it makes forests for hundreds of miles in a single year! This period is only one year long too! 

Fire Clouds - After the curse, Fire Qi changed. It was no longer possible to absorb Fire Qi from the sun for it had Yin Qi mixed in it, which would disturb and unbalance the cultivation. Instead Fire Cultivators rely on natural forming Fire Clouds! These are large, generally 5 to 10 kilometers long, and red in to orange in color. They are born when a Nature Qi cloud is born (When a lot of Nature Qi enters a cloud, turning it a little brighter and larger) and is baptized by the period in which the sun is the hottests. It happens every 100 years for a whole day, the sun is hot enough to melt flesh and bone from mortals, but only for 1 minute, which isn't enough to actually melt anyone.

Cursed Kin - Because of the lack of Qi, various cultivators had to rely on Demonic Beast's cores, and that changed them. The Cursed Kin are those who accept this change, and harness the strength that comes with it.

Great Core Fall - An event that happened many years ago. Caused by the greed of many Cultivators trying to get a monopoly over Demonic Beast Cores. This caused the demise of many people and nations.

Grey - Uncertain Thread (A person whose fate is undecided, this thread is common due to everyone, mortals or otherwise, mostly never having a decided fate)

Rainbow - Destined Thread (Someone whose fate has been decided. It cannot be changed. They are destined for great things - Be it good or evil)

Green - Renewal Thread (When a fate that was originally someone else's, goes to someone else. The thread loses its original coloration and becomes green for a time before regaining its original color)

Orange - Dangerous Thread (Although not serious as the Death Thread, these threads show that this person's life will be filled with danger or they will go through a dangerous situation. Maybe become a Death Thread)

Yellow - Joy Thread (This thread appears when someone is going to experience great joy!)

Blue - Sorrow Thread (This thread appears when someone is going to experience great sorrow!)

Red - Soulmate Threads (Super rare, appears on people's pinky fingers when they meet the one they are destined to love)
