An Amazing story, one that, after 60 chapters, I quickly wanted to recommend to my friends as 'one of the best fan-fictions i've ever read'
a choice that, the next day and another 60 chapters in, I couldn't help but regret.

Problems trickle into the story over time, growing in number as the story progresses.
One of the main problems, are her powers. Specifically, all the Quality of life features that they simply.. Have.
They appeared relatively limited in scope at first, as we lacked knowledge about them. 
But the further we progress, the more we learn, the more it becomes apparent just how much autonomy it takes away from the character.
She doesn't have to plan, that's taken care of by her fore-knowledge. 
She doesn't have to work or think, that's done by her sub-minds. 
She doesn't have to learn to fight as she is nigh-immortal and capable of copying muscle-memory and instinct from what she eats
The dangers of the warp? Don't apply to her.
Food? Sleep? Equipment? Storage? Language? Weapons? Ships? Crew? Followers? Friends? Living space? Safety?
All irrelevant to her, meaning she barely has to interact with the world around her to achieve her goals. She's supposedly in the 40K universe but the majority of the time, I can't tell because she never has to interact with it.

in fact, the MC, doesn't have needs, only wants. No requirements, only goals. The world of 40K is a playground for her, and she is a child.
A very young child, taken on adventures through the world by her parents, The Eldritch body and Massive Soul.
Everything is taken care of for her so she can do the one thing she cares about: play around, akin to a 5 year old in a fancy new playground and without a care for what she breaks or who she harms in the process.

The MC often claims to want to remain human, or atleast, retain her 'humanity'. What she leaves out, is that she is specifically refering to a 21st century modern sensibilities, not humanity at large.
From a 40K story I expected someone more serious, and with a monster MC, someone more monstrous. Unfortunately for me, this story provides neither. 
Nor can I really relate to the MC, having emotions is one thing, but letting them decide and control your actions, is ridicolous. Even more so with her low emotional maturity.

Really, the Novel has almost been turned into an angsty teen drama in space.
And that really isn't what the novel presented itself as at first..

Ofcourse, all the above is rather subjective, and focused on the specific parts I personally found problematic. There were far more parts of the novel I found very well written and enjoyed greatly.
But a protagonist is far too important for a story and this is too big of an issue for me to continue personally.

Came here for a warhammer Monster MC but found a girl in warhammer with slime powers. 

It was good at first and I gave it a 5 stars but MC is being really dumb about how she wants a humanoid body even it affects her combat capabilities especially since she wants a female body which is subjectively weaker than male body. She even makes herself more beatifull with the cost of becoming more emotional. And she says it is a good thing because she doesnt wants to lose her emotions. 

Then, she gets attached to a random human captain and fights demons for them and baby sits them. All the while saying "i can abandon them if things get too bad" which we know it wont and even if it does, she wont leave them. 

But i'll give it a 3 stars because author is a great person.

The person who gave this a 3 star review really confused me in how they described the story. In my POV, I read it as if the MC was a wimp, and the author made the MC more "emotional" just because they wanted to.

What I read instead: the MC starts of disoriented in their new circumstances. They've become an abomination that is quite possibly a God in nature, and they try to keep their human form and emotions to circumvent the nature of her new form of being an emotion-lacking-killing-machine whose only goal is to eat, kill, and live. Therefore = become a bit more emotional = stay a bit more human.

Furthermore, they are not a slime. Tentacle is a more apt description, albeit they could turn into puddle and whatnot.

On the note on the Mc's attachment to the Captain who shows up early in the story (the love interest), they don't simply become attached just cause. Their dynamic gave them good chemistry that made it entirely reasonable for it. Which is such a fun read, considering how smooth and subtle they flirt despite the circumstances.

When I first saw the title as a Warhammer fanfic, I was prepared for a convoluted story where the author just does whatever the fck they want and add elements from other fiction, but no. Its genuinely well written and each chapter goes by so quickly that I wish I had more to read. I dont know much about Warhammer lore and it's cannon story, but from what I could tell, the author tries their best to write is as plausibly as they can.

I would definitely recommend, especially if readers like GL with some good action and sorta OP MC

Very fun read, the protag is a nice mix of insanity and morality that fits surprisingly well in the universe, and the supporting cast are all pretty fun too, especially the love interest, she's great. Its not often you can see 40k stories with a focus on actually fixing that damn mess of a universe, absolutely worth a read even if you only have casual or no knowledge of the lore. ❤️
