For as long as he can remember, he's had these strange dreams. Dreams of a beautiful and strong woman often clad in armor, but these dreams often ended in death. His death. Awakening in his bed in a cold sweat, he constantly pondered these dreams until one day when he met the woman of his dreams...literally.

Enter Elizabeth Falcrest. A woman he's never seen before except in his dreams...or has he? His memories begin to clash. Reality twists around his mind until he comes to one conclusion. "You're a regressor, aren't you?" he asks and her smile begins to change. It becomes deep and possessive. Being the nerd that he is, he knows that type of smile. The smile only one type of person gets. A Yandere.

This is a romance story set in the modern world changed by dungeons and the monsters which appeared from them. When dungeons begin opening on Earth, people awaken to become "Players" or "Hunters". Many cities are destroyed and many more die. Humanity either rebuilds or relocates while attempting to fight for their survival. Even developing new technology and advancing the world with the resources found from the monsters and these dungeons.

In the midst of it all is Lucas and Elizabeth. When the focus is on Lucas, the perspective is first person. When the focus is on Elizabeth, it is third person. Just a heads up if that isn't your thing. The location is set around what used to be Washington, DC, or its outskirts. Simple names for the new city and districts will be used. Example: City W. District 4. etc.

Expect fluff, slice of life, and some action as Elizabeth attempts to keep Lucas alive this time around. With Elizabeth already knowing more about him than he does about her, Lucas has a lot to catch up on. Thankfully, Elizabeth is mostly receptive to explaining things. She won't lose him this time. She can't.

Chapters will be released as I am able. I'm working on this and two other stories at the moment. This story will have relatively shorter chapters with longer chapters as needed. I thank you for your patience and understanding, and I hope you enjoy!

This is my first time writing in this kind of setting (dungeon breaks and such) and it will be rather light in that aspect. So don't come into this expecting a full-blown intricate dungeon break story with progression and lots of stats with status screens everywhere. Stats will be mentioned, but the focus of this story is the romance/slice of life aspects with some drama as the story progresses.

NOTE: I put in the Smut genre but am unsure how graphic I will get in this story compared to my other stories (Cyber Heart and Love & Obsession). So, just in case, it's there if I end up writing some chapters/sections that are. There is definitely sexual content in this, and it holds mature themes. You've been warned. Mostly though, it's a lot of fluff. If I missed any tags or genres that would fit this, please let me know. The tag system still confuses me.

I'm still trying to figure out what tags/genre to use. As the story evolves organically, there may be instances where certain scenarios happen that weren't in the tags or genre. Such as an additional love interest that happens, yet it isn't fully a harem story. I thank you for your understanding and hope you enjoy the story regardless. ^_^ <3
