Firstly, I apologize in advance for any grammatical errors in the text, second probably I will be thicker in this text, because I read all the chapters at once, third I'll put the rest in spoilers after the introduction.

The story is fun, nothing really fundamentally different from others of the genre, in fact it works exactly, bar for bar, just like the male versions, you can make a checklist of this: character having a lot of luck, seemingly bad item being legendary, little sister that MC takes care of and is ultra protective, ultra edgy MC, bla bla, that major difference is not a tall guy but a small girl.

      MMO mechanics

      Spoiler

It's clear that the author doesn't know much about MMO mechanics (something that many authors don't know in this site), some more "attractive" problems are the achievement announcement system, literally being horrible, example, secret quests or important class change events, be announced, with no consent for the player, with the name of player be announced too, is literally insane, especially taking into account that the security system is very bad, since despite being top of the line, it was still possible to identify where the protagonist is from.

Imagine a important quest, like, protect NPC or delivery a important letter, and everyone in the server knows who is the person who received the quest and the name of the Questline.

      [collapse]

      MC Class mechanics

      Spoiler

Other things to complain about are mission progress notifications and class and skill progression. It's never explicit the limit that the MC can use which ends up becoming a big problem since, for example, she can relearn these skills and evolve them, the first evolution of her raise skeleton is one hundred of type, this means that by purchasing and evolving this skill she can bring an army of 100 of each type (the evolution tree she have show 6 types of possible evolution), without any limit cap on how many summons, probably in the next chapters, she will evolve the skill again, and can summon a golem, a special undead (Gloria), 100 skeletons of the evolve type she originally chose, 100 zombies, and then 100 more skeletons of the new evolve type

MC class doesn't have a weakness like any, MC have a multiple summons that feels don't having apparently cost to bring, mages don't have AOE to counter the numbers, she gain a lot of exp because she can fight above levels and gains a lot of money and skills, making easy gain more power and new skills to cover any weakness.

Bonus points if you has the halo MC, which means she gains a lot of rare skills, such as multitasking (not class but racial), summoning the servant, and the new one that allows her to bring and store dead people from a special subspace

      Enemies

      Spoiler

The monster are ok, but the enemies, the bad guys, are unbearable, they're not even one-dimensional characters, they're basically rag dolls that exists to annoy, even though they're just good for being just bad guys and taking beatings, this type is fun once, twice, three times... the twenty-fourth time they're appear, is just annoying, not fun and not dangerous, is hard to ever enjoy them getting beat up, when not even pass for villains from Saturday morning cartoons, but rather straymen from twitter texts, the story does not understand the concept that the value of a hero is equivalent to the threat of the villain and the challenge of obstacles.

      [collapse]

      Text structure

      Spoiler

The grammar of the story is good, and the narration is ok, the problem is the info dumps, the main text doesn't contain many, despite several cases of Chekhov's Gun bad utilization, for example the part talking about the Valkyries, as they have not yet appeared or had any relevance, that group that appears on early chapters completing the MC and simply disappears and is forgotten, or the two chapters about a mob character which I literally don't remember if it appeared previously and has no importance in the general plot, the worst thing being he literally dies in the first part, and that the second part is a flashback without any importance (obviously besides the obligatory narration showing case number 38 of noble being evil without no reason).

But the real meat of the problem is the constant (A/N) that interrupts the flow of the text and makes you think the author doesn't trust your ability to remember things (even though things that should be remembered are ignored or don't really matter), and the part of the author's speech that is usually where have gigantic info dumps about the game world are placed, worse is that basically 90% could be placed organically in the story or don't really make any difference, been basically useless.

It's the same as this sea of yapping that you are reading, imagine this, completely ignorant info dumps, which only serve to slow down the pace and which honestly even if the information turns out to be useful, you will probably have forgotten

      Nina, and other side characters

      Spoiler

The protagonist becomes Nina's friend (the reader only discovers that she is a beastkin literally 5 chapters later, this was not hidden, the author just forgot to say it, the autor never truly describe the appearance of the characters except the MC's doll body), I'm honest, have no logical ideia or reason for her to spare Nina's life on that situation, on top of that, to become her friend, the explanation in which she liked the fact that Nina have a relative high level, which In comparison of the MC, is the power of slightly bigger ant, she was surrounded, had stolen a kill, and has dispose to fight, it would make more sense putting the MC wanting a friend from a thief class and also because she think is cute, but the real reason why is the meta reason: the MC having a Sidekick.

Since I talked about Nina, I think she's a really cool character, with an interesting moveset, and is probably a try to show that ever others classes beyond the MC chosen class can be strong, but honestly the being that really shows that the game are not completely dog sh*t pay to win and full RNG roquelike is the goblin scout dude: no special class or race, no super skill, no pro player experience, just playing with the cards given and learning to do skillfully, my man is level Joel of Yu-Gi-Oh in terms of being the underdog.

Sister of MC and friends, gains apparently a little help from Gaia (the Goddess of the game and manifestation of the system) and give everyone great races of undead, and on top of that close to a special level D dungeon with S rank skill as trophy, Imagine if someone discovered this, how the game producers would explain this, twice someone from the same family would be this "lucky"

      World building of real world

      Spoiler

Including the world-building of the real world, you only know that it's in the future, but it's literally in one random moment, in we're going to find out about the protagonist's family, a completely bizarre information about is released, without any further explanation how or why, that a civil religious war happened, no further explanation, just "explain" why rich people started talking like nobles from a middle ages movie, is the only real set piece about the world, is dropped out of nowhere and as been really quiet since.

I could talk about the problems of how MC's luck and other things, For example, like the sister of the golden monarch, with no reason, she studies at the same school as the mixed exam, a school that has to have poor people, including the MC (obvious), instead of studying at a school only for the rich.

      [collapse]

      Theme and MC

      Spoiler

The theme, nuance of this is like a hammer on your head, the villains are all the rich people who for some reason act like a monarch, complete d*CKS with the only good thing is the golden spoon, and the heroes full of talents are the prebians, the good guys are all friends of MC, even though they are literally gang members and "former" torturers (I love how their excuse of them "not messing with kids" somehow cleans up his crimes, reminds 365 Days, the scene where the mafia boss, who traffics drugs and had kidnapped a woman, is torturing an ch*ld abuser, to try to make him seem like a good person despite everything in the movie)

Anyone that is bad hates poor people and is completely idiot to the point where you wonder how the hell they managed to get where they did, because they were so stupid that they wouldn't even get anywhere by making conspiracy.

There's the problem, the protagonist is terrible at representing this theme, literally someone the only reason for her success is luck, you know it's like I put someone who won the lottery as a proof that poor people can become rich, It's almost hypocritical, it's hypocrite here for her to complain about someone who was born with a silver spoon when she is an exam carried by lady luck and the literally game god / system likes her (Gaia helps the sister and friends of MC), in a game that supposed to be a meritocracy, a test of abilities and skills, but the MC simply rools above any problem with her one in million racial skill and the S rank class gain by luck.

Not to mention the attitudes and talks that make you think that her anger isn't even because of the inequality situation in the world, but because she is at the bottom of the food chain but not at the top, and now that she has the power, she was not gained through skill or hard work, but through luck, something not very different from someone who was born rich. The irony of saying that she will fight against the system when she is benefiting greatly from the game system, in addition to her conversation during the test, just reminds me of voldemorts speaking about power.

I'm not saying that she's a villain or wanting power is a bad thing (even because she helps her sister and such), but an arc where she analyzes her attitudes will be interesting.

      Short:

The story its self is (was) entertaining, but it wears you down by an unbelievable amount of minor issues and general lack of care.

      Long (er) :

This story is aggravating, in part because there was a good and entertaining story in there at some point, but between the story demanding you turn off your brain to get that said level of enjoyment, the story simply getting dull due to nothing happening, and multiple chapters being dedicated to straight up dreadful filler content, I've decided I'm done.

It doesn't even try to to be remotely believable on any aspect. The real world is nonsense, the majority of player characters are the most generic and uninspired villains you can think off, the video game characters flip flop between typical video game characters and fully sentient beings at complete random, and the leveling system is a complete and unbelievable joke. We haven't even mentioned the rampant retcons that happen, not even a few chapters after said thing was introduced. I simple refuse to believe more than 5 seconds of thought was put into just about anything, and something surprising about this story, is that the retcons haven't been retconned, yet.

While the general quality does improve as you god on, I still wouldn't even consider this a rough draft, this feels more like someone started laying out a barebones guide for their story, put dialogue in between that, and called it good. The author notes often reinforce this thought too. Ironically, at one point an Author's Note asks if they did their math correct for the amount of money the character has and would like someone to correct it for them if not. Funnily enough, not long before an Author's Note said that there are transaction fees, of unknown amounts, and that they will be ignored because the math would be too difficult.

The part where I drew the line and called it quits, (vague and very minor spoiler)

      Spoiler

was right after we were given a chapter and a half dedicated to a completely irrelevant character, simply to introduce a very mundane and expected thing the MC will get later on in the story, we're then given the most cliche garbage where some characters get beyond the MC's godly luck, all so that they can magically catch up to the MC in levels. This is all right after we're told that our unfathomably OP MC can't even stay more than a level or 2 ahead of any of the other major characters with her beyond broken ability to level - second paragraph in this review about leveling, remember?

      [collapse]

There's so much more I can type (I had to write a list or I'd forget the most important issues), but this review is already way too long at this point. I bounced around between 2 and 3, eventually settling on 2 for a while, but at this point it's a 1. It wouldn't even take a complete rewrite to move it back to a 3, just fixing the unbelievable amount of small issues that widdle you down.

The best VR novel I've read since The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor. Actually, TLMS and now ELO are the only 2 VR storys that I like.

Charismatic MC; good supporting characters; good fights without overwhelming information. AND MOST IMPORTANT!! RICH SNOB GUILDS BEING BEATEN!!. Already fun with only 32ch, has the potential to be even better.

      Spoiler

in the first chapters there are many "lucky encounters" but she would not be the MC without luck, right?

To be honest this novel was wonderful, then gradually took a nose dive in common sense and story wise.

So the grammar is fine no problems with that, it’s easy to read and understand what’s going on, especially with the little info boxes every once in a while.

The plot is kinda generic and it’s not necessarily bad but mixed with the lack of common sense and how the real world and everything just “works” for the MC it just ruins it, also I was wondering why I’ve read this before or something SUPER similar and it’s just the Korean novel Overgeared just replaced with a necromancer and then pumped with so much LUCK it turns into plot armour.

The side characters are meh like if the bad guys had even a little bit of common sense the MC would be no problem, like all the side characters the MC annoys are on the global Fortune 500 list and when they lose progression, skills, world quests and more to a Nobody.

you would think they would and just follow the money and bam her irl and I know it’s a super advanced ai encrypting the bank info but still just get someone close to the MC or piece together small tidbits you her from her, like knowing how little she cares about protecting herself irl she would probably just blab about how she won her visor from a lottery. Then just follow that info and blam her irl.

Now onto the MC, just by herself she’s actually pretty good until ch15? Where it nose dives,

      Spoiler

      the MC is a necromancer

      [collapse]
and you would think oh she must be a solo player because she’s already bullied irl and she immediately pissed off multiple global companies so she must keep herself closed off from others but nope the first “party member” she just randomly picks up cause she was bored and then gets immediately closed to her, like if she was a plant then she just sentenced her and her sister to be blammed irl.

So TLDR, enough plot armour Luck to clad a ship, no common sense on both MC and enemies ends. And really close to overgeared.

Still early days but it’s fun and entertaining and I’m looking forward to more.

I find the characters chill which is great without all the edgyness prevalent in these stories. There’re  serious moments but feel well earned reactions.

      Spoiler

      I was worried about the necromancer class as it’s probably the worst and most overused in stories but didn’t ruin it and it works well enough. Still not my favourite though. &Nbsp;

      [collapse]
. Also negative criticism such as nothing happening is odd since its first arc is pretty much constantly moving with just some side character chaps. Real world is both scarily realistic and not I suppose. It’s all very possible even in our world to lesser degrees so comes to preference and if you want pure fantasy no evil.

I like the story, but the LitRPG elements remind me more of a roguelike then an MMO.

      Spoiler

The character creation and skill acquisition seems extremely skewed toward RNG and away from character choice.

      [collapse]
This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it does remove a bit of immersion from the story. Overall it's great so far only having a few small flaws here and there.
