The world is cruel, and a broken Maggie is a dangerous thing. Negan himself isn’t in the right headspace after having been locked up for years only to be spared the mercy of death. By some twisted fate he’s wound up having to care for Maggie, the woman he took everything from. Both have lost everything they'd ever cared for.
