Once, I commanded legions and counseled kings; now, I polish the silver in Lady Cassandra's dining hall. My name was Lord Nicodemus, a title revered and feared, but in this cursed twist of fate, I find myself trapped in a form not my own—Nico, a mere servant girl in the vast, sinister estate of my captor. The tasks are mundane yet daunting. Every polished surface, every perfectly arranged bouquet is a reminder of my fall, yet also a quiet testament to my undying resolve.
Lady Cassandra watches me, her gaze piercing yet dismissive. She believes she has broken me, reshaped me into a docile tool in her ornate world. Little does she know, each day I piece together parts of my old strength, binding them with new cunning forged in servitude. Amidst the grandeur that now imprisons me, I strategize, waiting for the moment to reclaim my power and identity. I just pray I am not too late before this curse consumes me.
Bottom Line: an excellent, to the point story about pleasure in servitude!
I love a story with a happy ending. Nico's tale starts with elements of old-style "punitive" gender bender, making it an excellent throwback. The internal thoughts of our increasinly willowy protagonist drive the narrative from start to finish, even as she gains less and less control over the situation itself.
If you like seeing someone broken, remolded, reshaped in someone else's image until the question of whether they consent is moot, this one is for you.
