it's gay af and I love it.
Author has a firm understanding of the English language and the character interactions have made this work an enjoyable read so far.
While the in-game portion of the story describes game mechanics and equipment functions the author has avoided status screen bloat which in turn adds to the readability of the work.
I understand and respect the reasoning behind the male to female component of the story however I found it to be superfluous outside of being a vehicle for character building as well as mild meta-tag bait.
We have been presented with a fair balance of both in-game world building and compelling character development.
I am hoping that as more characters are introduced the author doesn't aim to force in a myriad of pan, ace, and helicopter like some works devolve into.
I cannot in good conscience rate this anything less than a 5, it's gay af and I love it.

Fair warning, I found Rose's story on another website and had so much fun reading them I signed up for her Patreon. Patreon is up to 3.35 for those interested.
So, on the surface we've got a VR MMO with lots and lots of hot, steamy, horny naughtiness. Look a bit deeper and you'll find some good world crafting, interesting characters, lots of nerdy references and humor.
It's a world of Angels vs Demons. It's a world where the main character gets corrupted fairly early on and embraces it. Not in a suddenly mustache twirling evil kind of way, but in a let's make the best of it and be the biggest, toughest badass around doing it. While occasionally becoming a little bit too overconfident and face planting herself. Bring the gang along and go balls to the wall with it.
Being a s*x focussed LitRPG it's always going to be about the horny. It's fun to read how a woman writes a s*x scene compared to a man. Nice change of pace. I also consider it a plus that the MC's s*xuality isn't thrown in our faces every second paragraph. It just is. And that's how it should be. No different than how straight s*xuality is portrayed in media.
As for the rest, the main focus of the story is on the MC Allie's journey. It's in the title, after all. The interaction between her love interest is fun. At the same time, there's immense trust and respect there, but they never miss an opportunity to take the piss at each other. Keeps both of them grounded.
If I have to say something that I'd like to see improved it would be this. The rest of the cast at the moment are somewhere between fully fleshed characters and some stereotypes. If Rose allows herself, I'd like her to have the focus on some of the other characters for a chapter or two. Maybe delve into the history of Janus (the butler) or Bray the gay beefcake warrior with a bigger heart than brain or common sense. Lovable Idiot.
All in all, I'm enjoying myself immensely with this story. Hope Rose keeps writing and lots of folks discover her. Either here, or on other sites where she posts. She deserves it.

I've had fun reading this series. It's not perfect, but what's there is quite entertaining and worth a look.
I feel that the characters are what the author has done really well. Allie is a fun protagonist in and out of the game, and the juxtaposition between those two states is really well done. The rest of the supporting cast is well thought out. You can tell that each character had a lot of thought into who they were and what they want put in by the author. At time of writing, we don't interact with most of the cast besides Emily, but there is plenty of time for each character to have their time to shine.
The few criticisms I can think of revolve around pacing and world design. I feel like this story is set on fast forward, like the author was rushing through events to get to the good bits. This isn't a real detriment, I just feel that a bit more detail on what's going on, what things look like, or more detail in how characters are feeling could help the pace feel less frantic.
The other critique would be the world building, specifically the "game design". I know the author went back and changed a few things after some feedback, but initial impressions had me wanting more detail on the game and its systems the characters are using. It feels like the game is just a thinly veiled catalyst for the characters to do cool demon super-powered shenanigans and still have a normal love story outside those situations. Which to be honest... is the entire point of these types of litRPGs. The author is a story teller, not a game designer. The game doesn't have to be perfectly tuned or even make total sense to make this an enjoyable story.
But yea, I've had fun with this story. It's obvious that this is the authors first posted story, so there's not the most polish. But what's under the minor flaws is a fun love story with some pretty interesting action scenes. Worth a look at least.
