This is bad and makes no sense most of the time.
The protagonist isn't really a human being, he's the author's 13 year old power fantasy, just look at the cover art, tells you everything.
I don't watch one piece and I can definitely accept people being incredibly tall and much stronger just as a base compared to our world, what I can't accept is really bad writing, here is a short summarization of the first couple chapters:
Protagonist is on an island with a small population and his mother which is under the jurisdiction of a military force, island gets raided by pirates and he's the only survivor, protagonist kills the pirates as a 7 year old by using magical fruit and op protagonist logic. What does the protagonist do next? Yes he trains for 7 years on this small island and noone shows up from the military to ever check on the island, the pirates or anyone. After training for 7 years he somehow grows absurdly powerful and decides to collect the bounties of the pirates he killed 7 years ago, there are no questions about the state of the bodies that have been mummifying for 7 years on the island and he gets the bounties no problem or difficult questions asked.
When you write something please think of the logical consequences for things that you write about. Not everything has to be perfect and not everything needs to make sense, just at least try writing something cohesive.

This fic is good, il start with that, I have my gripes with it but as long as you dont think TOOO hard you should have no problem enjoying the story so far, worth the read, rant time.
1st and main issue I have is the
system
which he technicly already is
living on a degenerate pirate island
11 ft tall dude in assasin's creed garb, its not a very "onepiece'y" look in my opinion

This is one of the best op fanfics I've read and one of best fic that is currently ongoing. I really like how the auther describes the scenarios and personality of characters that never got much screen time. I especially like the way he writes his figths. And the images help in imagining things too. And that 1 star review guy is complaining about MC being strong at 13, like dude, go and watch the f**king anime big mom could defeat giants when she was 6 f**king years old

As an actual reader unlike someone else who rated this 1 star and only has this one book in their reading list with nothing else in their profile, let me say that this book is pretty well written and even has images to assist you in imagining what the author has in mind. I can't agree with the 1 star because that's pretty harsh especially if that's the only thing they're complaining about. This is a bit if spoiler but I'll try to stay clear as much as I can.
1. That island isn't even in the Marines jurisdiction and it's explained later how the pirates were able to get away with things. No idea what he meant by his mother being under the military jurisdiction, just no.
2. If you watch One Piece, then you'dknow that if you have a Devil Fruit in one of the 4 seas (not even grand line), you'll be OP in a sense, althoughthat wasn't too much the case here because it was a struggle at first.
3. The MC knows One Piece and knows enough of how to train to get strong, 7 years is pretty good, especially when you consider him getting stronger in a slower pace compared to a certain boy with a straw hat.
Honestly, good book, good read. I just can't agree with that 1 star, seems like an attack more than anything. If you like One Piece, you'll like this.

The author writes whatever comes to his mind without thinking like
shakky's gun ate a devil fruit wtf whats next a ship ate a devil fruit?
Young kaido withstanding fishman water pressure of like 10k m deep under the sea. Cmon
This is like those chinese stories that you need to put your brain aside to be able to read it

This well-researched and thoughtfully crafted novel demonstrates the author's meticulous attention to detail in every chapter. The inclusion of elements such as bounties, the world's reaction, and pictures for new characters and attacks significantly enriches the reader's experience. Additionally, the power system is well put together—while some aspects are open to debate, it is impressively executed for a fanfic and can be considered a well-developed AU.
This stands out as one of the best One Piece fanfics I have read to date.

A good novel and it is one of the best fanfics I've read so far. I've read quite a few naruto, Harry Potter and marvel Fanfics and this is up there.
The fight scenes scenes are good, the protagonist makes logical and thought out decisions with planning in advance. The romance is okay, both the heroines are really likeable and dont seem one dimensional. The one piece canon characters are well fleshed out imo, they act how I imagine them to act, including kaido and big mom lol. The authors original characters also good with their own backgrounds and motivations.
It is fun to see events before the actual timeline of One Piece and how the MC fares against the Yonkos and others in their prime.
A lot of people are turned off by the introduction of a system, me included. Rightfully so considering how often it turns stories into sh*t. I was alright with the system but I didn't like the fact it was sentient but it's mainly used to show stats and the progress of the MC and put the power levels into perspective which is really helpful so it negates the downsides of a system.
Overall a good novel with a lot of action and the satisfying growth of an MC with both his strength and emotions.
Can't wait for the real One piece timeline to start. Kudos to the author.

First, before making my review, I want to respond to two other.
One, yes a gun can eat devil fruit, Spandam did have a saber who ate a elephant zoan fruit so why not (althought the tech was developped by Vegapunk years later but who know if some people didn't have the knwo-how before then). And Kaido using water pressure in 10km deep ocean to train isn't surprising when you know he can tank galleon-destroying slash unharmed WITHOUT his fruit at his prime.
Two, while I agreed some detail are off, like the 7 years corpse still there even if treated with preservation leaf, or the obvious plot armor when MC get beated, is unconscious inf front of a admiral and vice-admiral yet they let him go, the story is overall enjoyable, with more or less effort from the author to make sense (it's a rewrite and author changed detail to be more canon, thought I didn't read the first one so I can't say what changed).
Now for my review, I enjoyed the story, I like how MC wasn't a murder/pirate enthousiast from the start but was forced (well he chose to) into his path (but I would have prefered he didn't streamroll the first one, even if je was carried by his devil fruit). There is a system but the originality: it's not the one from MC but someone who summoned MC in O-P world and is dead from some time already.
MC have goal and is clear on his path. He's not smart or dumb. He won't make super plan upon decade or rush in hopeless battle... ah, I take back the second part, he did rush in hopeless battle... Well, he did try to plan to take on stronger opponent. He will train when he fell lacking, act when he need to act, and keep forward to his paths.
Not much to say of the grammar, I don't remember having see abomination alike some MTL, and every thing can be understood.
In conclusion.A 4.5/5 with the only probeme are details here and here but you can easily pass by some without even notice them sometime.
