Max lives in the world of Pokémon, hundreds of years after the legend that is Ash Ketchum lived, and comes from a tiny village in the region of Verk. He is setting out on his journey to grow powerful enough to make his village safer for his family and friends by clearing out the local area of its dangerous Pokémon. At the same time a team with an agenda starts causing trouble with powerful Pokémon and seeks to rule the country.
