This is a not so tipical multiversal travel fiction, inspired by the reluctant dimention hopper from the SCP wiki which universe this is based in, and I hope you like it.

Picture your ussual fantasy world where reaching adulthood the young grown ups go through an awakening ritual that awakens their unique tallents. As it would be expected, the ones with the best tallents are selected and scouted by the noble families and royality to maintain and strenghten their position both internally and externally. Then lo and behold, as expected, our main character awakens some pretty impressive sounding skill. As it would be expected, he is recruited by the nobles, but for some reason is abused and bullied by other noble youngsters of his age. And when the true potential of his skills comes to light, he is putthrough a hellish training camp to maximize his... more>> potential in order to protect their kingdom.

The difference however, is our protagonist does not see their 'benevolent' actions of ruthless training and endless torture quite as such. And with their brainwashing not taking root, he eventually grows strong enough to return the favor he recieved multiple times over. Slow progression and the character starts off relatively weak.

WARNING: AS WITH ALL MY WORKS I LIKE TO EXPLORE THE DARKER SIDE OF HUMANITY, SO ANYTHING UNCOMFORTABLE OR DOWNRIGHT ATROCIOUS IS OPEN FOR EXPLORATION, even if its not the main focus of it. With the greater focus centered around ones ability to endure physical torment and overcome it (hopefully), as well as how such hardships could twist and shape even the most benevolent minds.
