The thing is though, he doesn't want to mind control anyone, and no matter how much his system encourages him to, he refuses to be some type of scumbag who only sees and uses women as tools for power.

Even then, he is in a world where there are century old villains, psychopathic killers who won't hesitate to kill him, hero society politics that he hasn't considered, Yakuza bosses itching for power, and the possibility of mass destruction always just a second away.

So, in the end, does he even really have a choice?

Noe is a salted fish. He doesn't like being busy nor does he like trouble. But life doesn't always give you that much choice.
Suddenly... more>> died, although he did expect as much since he doesn't like eating and avoids it like the devil, he did and starved himself to death but what he didn’t expect was to be transmigrated into a world where humans and mermaid fight for land(that was a pun).
Humans wants mermaid for their beauty and singing that can heal as well as the rich resources in the sea of the planet where mermaid’s reside while mermaid just straight up hate humans for their destructive way of life and their love of plundering things that were not theirs.
Not that those two legs land lubber made any effort to make themselves lovable to the mermaids with their fixation for them. Wars, death and devastation soured the relationship between these two race even more.
And now, Noe, who was supposed to be dead, was resurrected as a mermaid with a big wound on his heart. Gee, not a good way to get up from sleep and feel the heart rending pain. Pun intended.
And now, this pseudo salted fish has become a real fish and have to start hunting for food. Why? Because he hates pain and the wound he suffered from won't heal unless he eats. Was the salted fish given any other choice? Yes.
He can ask the humans, who have mania for mermaids, to raise this salted fish.
Now, he faces days where he has food shoved down his throat by the enemy Marshal. <<less
