In other words, it's a grind.

Like any good story, there is plenty of room for progression.
He starts out with a bunch of psychological issues and a good few physical ones. Additionally, he has the means to live modestly but still to spend his hours in pursuit of the plot.
Unlike most good stories, ... well, a lot of things. But importantly, there is NO GUARANTEE of success. If he is unsuccessful, this project will be dropped. There is no room for fantastical plot armor in this story; His final saga could very well end in demoralized failure.

The "Game Elements" tag is for the personal status sheet, which is a fairly arbitrary documentation of his performance at various sets of exercises, and other discernible attributes.

The story uses a first person narrative.

The Gore / Sexual Content / Etc tags are there because the contents might discuss such things. Definitely not the focus of the story. MC usually doesn't use "Strong Language", at least at the beginning. But he might develop into such a character.

Watch him get his teeth kicked in over a misunderstanding at a bar or gamble away an adventure's earnings in a single game and then make at least enough back to buy a drink and go to sleep. But don't underestimate him because between using poisons and powerful scrolls, he is most deadly when prepared and using a bow. He may not have many spells either but enough to do some damage. This novel is mainly meant as a Light Light Novel with a dash of excitement from the War theme and as much comedy as I can humanly squeeze out of myself so don’t expect too much mystery, tragedy, or anger-inducing young masters and villains lining up to get face-slapped.

The real “meat” of the story begins from Chapter 5 onwards when the Simulator officially begins. Prior to that, the aim is mainly to provide some background to the Reader as well as to provide a sneak peak into the writing style of the Author.

Honestly this is just a writing project I've undertaken. I've got a rough plan and outline that I sketched in about 2 hours and I'm looking to write a complete story. I hope to incorporate an interesting perspective on Content creation and inspired by people's efforts of both regular and internet preservation efforts.
