The reason I am writing this story is for myself. Recently over the years, the media seem to be hailing evil characters or the people that go against their humanity and fight God because they disagree with something. I wanted to portray a story where the MC wants to be closer to the Lord but has to commit sins to follow the destiny given to him by the Lord. This is not the light novel you're accustomed to seeing here. This is the screenplay for a visual novel that I, along with my friends, wrote for the Ukrainian Visual Novel Jam. Below is a link to our game. Unfortunately, there is no English version available yet, but we will add one soon.
This story about Nika and Yuri is very important to me because I wrote it after breaking up with my girlfriend, and to be honest, I was shattered. At that moment, it seemed easier to die than to continue living. Overall, everything was fine for me until then, but after the breakup, I found myself for the first time standing in front of the mirror, thinking that there was no real purpose in continuing to live.

But thanks to my friends and the writing of this story, I managed to pull myself back. Perhaps my state wasn't as dire as I thought, but the support of close people and engaging in creative work helped me see a distant glimmer of hope in life.

Initially, we thought that everything would end with the jam, but after it ended, I decided that I wanted to make more out of this story.
