The sky is a hollow, suffocating black, smothered by the ash and dust of a meteor that ripped the heart from the earth. What was once a place of warmth and life is now a frozen, unforgiving grave, where the sun has long since faded into memory. The cold is relentless, biting into flesh, sinking into bone, as if the very air conspires to kill. It is always night. Always winter.

The meteor’s arrival was not just an end, but the beginning of something far worse. From its shattered remains, fragments of alien rock lie scattered across the wasteland, glowing with an unnatural power. These stones offer gifts, twisted gifts—strength that can snap a man in half, visions that pierce the soul, and mutations that twist the body beyond recognition.

Power comes at a price, but refusing the meteorite's touch isn't much better. A disease spreads through the survivors like a silent plague, rotting them from the inside out. Without the stones, there is no escape from the sickness, no hope of survival.

Some try to scavenge what resources are left and survive, while it is whispered others fight to claim the stones, either hoping that enough will let them remake the world, or just out of lust for power. For most in this cruel world, the only question left is how much longer they can hold out. For our protagonist, though... things have just gotten a bit more complicated.
