[Currently on hiatus, apologies.] Building a huge city in another world!
Shane Blackwood is a young man from a normal family - that is until he dies in a tragic accident and is reincarnated into a new world; complete with an overpowered skill that allows him to see the unseen and transfer knowledge, skills and abilities from one person to another. Spurning the idea of becoming a world saving hero, Shane finds himself placed into a position of responsibility over a small caravan of displaced travellers.
Seizing upon the chance to make their own place to call home, Shane and his new friends must establish a powerful city state on a continent in turmoil. But as the city grows, new challenges arise - and Shane's desire to avoid the mistakes of the future bring him into conflict with noble families, competing states and even his own citizens.

The King’s Eye. A godly power that allowed me to copy the knowledge of any living being and transfer it to myself or another.
Not exactly a spoiler, since it's in chapter 1, but starting with this information, I already inform you that the MC is an idiot, even though he knows he is under threat of being murdered at any moment, he has not acquired ANY abilities so far. When he helped with construction, he didn't acquire building skills, when he talked to lumberjacks or hunters about better places for his work, he didn't acquire any of their knowledge, when he talked to farmers about their land he didn't acquire his knowledge, when he was invited to know the king and nobles acquired no knowledge of court politeness and courtesy, and finally, when under threat from soldiers or assassination, acquired no skill or knowledge of combat.
The goddess says that the nobles are literally tearing out the eyes of people who were born with special eyes and that he should only tell about it to people he trusted, 1 day after he arrives in this world, he already told the first person who asked that he has a special eye capable of "seeing things".
The noble girl, from a family that was described in the book of the goddess as at least "problematic" decides to exchange secrets with him, that she was sent to invade and gain dominion over the village through using him as a puppet after conquering him with a "honey trap", and what does this human genius count as his secret?! ABOUT HIS DAMN EYES, about him possessing them, his powers and even his name "king's eyes"... king's eyes... KING's eyes, anything that has powers and has "king" in the name is at least powerful or enviable, and he tells this to a noble, that the GODDESS said they are gouging out the eyes of others, that he has one.
