Disclaimer: If you can't accept MC won't always be the strongest, smartest, and most charismatic person in the room, then this story is not for you. Also, MC isn't the edgy, shameless, harem-seeking kind of MC. I'm an amateur writer, not a professional writer. This is just a hobby, so don't expect me to rewrite the whole story just because it's not to your liking.
I have reincarnated as a Dragon. I can't remember who I am or how I got here. I remember I was an enthusiast of fantasy stories but now that I'm a part of it, I am less than thrilled. Not only does all my senses feel wrong, but I was also reincarnated inside a forest where the most dangerous creatures lurked. I wasn't just reincarnated. I was completely reborn as an infant Dragon. I even had to make an effort to break myself out of the egg. Now that I'm out, how I wish that I have never come outside. It is a tough world out there.
A/N: This is one of the stories I have written on a whim. I have a repertoire of half-written stories in my library. And this is one of them. And the cover isn't mine. Found it on google. I will take it down if the original artist asked of me. I'm also posting this story on Royal Road under the same name.
MC dumber than dumb not gonna lie. Can't summon any willpower to read this sh*t anymore. Oh to those who wanna know why, it's because he's going to be a superhero (slave) hired (enslaved) by the goddess (c**dump). I was honestly expecting a lot when I saw the cover of the MC looking like evil incarnate. But he's a hero-wanna-simp.
I read this expecting him to act like a dragon that he is but he still clings to being "human" even tho he has almost no memories as one except for the fictions he read (what are the odds right?) And also his name, harry potter or was it hairy, sounds the same who cares.
Well the ultimatum to make me literally rage quit reading is when he went bat sh*t crazy, not being able to control his emotions, and still end up not killing a single humanoid in a humanoid town, and he went insane in the middle of it because a bitch tricked him into proving he's not a warlock pretending to be a drake (she didn't believe he was a dragon) and getting his ass tricked on being a slave (he was capable of thinking... No wait, I think he doesn't) and when he escaped he didn't even get to kill anyone to vent and when his control came back *poof* comes a goddess sitting on a stone and tells him his life story and his mission to save the other worlds that's under her jurisdiction, and he just sort of forgets about getting his revenge on the one who enthralled him because guess what? Yes... It was female, and he saw her naked first time they met, and she's most likely going to be his c**dump sooner or later...
Anyway it's trash for me, might be candy for you. Drop a like, like how I almost Drop kicked someone out of rage from reading it.

MC got enslaved because of his stupidity letting himself tricked easily like who tf would touch a obviously magical item who you know has a sh*t ton of magic in it just because someone said so?
So if you hate stories where the MC is enslaved and in a stupid way at that then this story is not for you.

This is maybe the 1st novel I am leaving a review for, honestly I have only read it till chapter 22 and couldn't bring myself to continue because the MC is too much for me to bear with. For f#ck sake he is a dragon but he don't seem to like any other monster at all. In novels or myths, dragon are usually greedy, evil creatures. Here through he is a righteous sh*t with inborn dislike for Evil. There are also too many clichè and MC has extreme luck.
When randomly moving, he encounters females with high status that shouldn't happen, and aquire strong yandere monster self-proclaimed waifu. According to MC it is normal for humanoids to attack a monster like itself but monsters attacking him on other hand are just asking for death, no mercy for them. Fight is avoided either because high status females are in a hurry to do something or there is another enemy. He isn't trying to turn into a monster he has reincarnated into at all. For him forests and all it's animals can burn to death if it means he can save a humanoid girl (a demihuman cat-princess) he has never met or even seen even after he refused to save her to the ones who asked him to save her. Things that are most unlikable in this novel are-
1. MC wish to be on good terms with humans and his emotions towards humans.
2. MC discrimination or double standards like treating humanoids with kindness and animals with cruelty even if they are smart (capable of thought and communication, yup, I am talking about the Serpent who once spared MC life and even saved him from a sure death later).
3. Fact that MC isn't affected by his race. Like his emotions stayed what they were if he was still a human. Love for humans and hated for monsters no matter what kind including those with dragon blood. He got no dragon inheritance.
4. MC logic, he says this is clichè and that is cliché but he go through with it anyway. Like going after the Evil Cult member and trying to kill him. Later, encoutouring a young girl with high staus who almost died at that cult man's hands. Then going through saving the princess clichè.
I thought it would be a story of ruling monsters, dominating world and eventually ascending as a dragon god. Not this where MC tries to re-enter human civilization. I just want to say if you are writing a monster MC story then make the MC monstrous who favours monsters not humans/humanoids.

Overall the story is competently written. If you're into dragon MCs it's a decent read. I just have two gripes with it. I guess vague spoilery stuff ahead.
First gripe is the sheer number of Deus ex Machina situations in this story. It really dulls any tension in the story when random solutions come out of nowhwre. Oh no the protagonist's skill set isn't well-suited towards the current problem the tension in the story is getting high. Oh wait he just pulls a brand new super power out of his rear that's perfect for the situation. Oh no the enemy countered his ability and he's suffering extreme backlash as a result. Oh wait he somehow uses the backlash energy to evolve like some kind of Pokemon mid-fight. Oh no he lost a limb and he's about to be slain. Oh wait new ally saves him out of nowhere and the lost limb never hinders him or is addressed ever again.
Second gripe is that he's a jerk to almost everyone. Even those that save his life. The one exception to this rule is if they're a lone humanoid female. Then he'll
simprisk life and limb to help.Edit: the harem tag came into play and the interplay between the main character and the first member of his harem gave me serious neckbeard/incel/red pill vibes. It's uncomfortable to the point of me dropping.

Despite the flaws it has, this novel is still quite good for me. It's not as bad as the other reviews made it out to be but I can see how this will repel a lot of readers. MC is only dumb and weak if you're expecting those kinds of full-on self-insert and wish fulfilment OP MC. MC isn't an anti-hero or a hero protagonist. I would say he's right in between. There's no game/rpg system to keep track of MC's power progression, which can be a minus to some.
Story is pretty much barren and spread out in mini arcs. Personally, I don't mind.
What I really dislike about the story is that there are a lot of potentially interesting side characters that got benched. Hope the author can give them some more screentime or maybe even a POV chapter. (Though there's only MC's pov chaps so far.)
If you came for the harem, I can say it will be quite a long wait as MC had only gotten his first official love interest in the recent chapters. (There is a slow romance tag after all)
I just hope the author doesn't get discouraged by the negative criticisms too much and drop this novel.

The anatomy of the MC is a not that great but overall it's a good novel.

This has been a good story so far. There have been infuriating foes and likable allies. The MC has stumbled a few times along the way on the road to power, but the author hasn't lazily used Deus Ex Machina repeatedly to come down to save him.
It's been a very enjoyable read, so far, especially for being free.

Meh. Not a good read. Sorry, this isn't for me. MC isn't at all likable character even after ch 90. 2 stars for the author's hard work. Maybe you should revamp this novel.
