It depends on what he qualifies for.
Desk jobs (like analysts) are anywhere from 50k - 60k full time per year. Scientists get significantly more at 70k to 90k (and bonuses for completed and successful projects). Field agents run anywhere from 120k to 150k (also with bonuses for completing objectives on a mission), plus danger pay.

Well BB, I did something bad to myself..I re-read Morbid. Holy Shit! That novel is amazing and I'm once again aching for more. I feel there's so many things that can still be done in that story.
This isn't a plea for you to start writing it again as I know how writers and their inspirations work, but I hope you find the inspiration to pick it up again someday.
For now, I'm going back to SI:Spiderman since I'm almost 20 chapters behind.

Passion projects are like that. I put a lot of thought and work into that living novel.
I don't have any current plans to restart it, with the other things I have going on.
