Hey, everyone! Guess what? I'm alive!
I lost power on Friday night at 2am and didn't get it back until around 8pm last night (7 full days of no power). So, that's no refrigerator food after two days and no freezer food after four (it was all ruined). I also lost a computer monitor and had to dig up one that was three years old and I'm using that.
I also blew the battery on my laptop and it won't hold a charge at all, so it took me a while to start writing again. New SI:Spider-Man in a minute.
OMG. I remember how horrible it was for me when the nearby river flooded and I had no power and had to migrate to a Hilton hotel for three weeks. It's hard to imagine to actually have to endure such conditions! Glad you're fine ❤️❤️❤️

Oh! I actually know this site. It used to be noveltrench.com. Anyways, the website is more of a library of sorts, rather than someone pretending to be the author.
iirc they had author information in the past, maybe after changing domain they're still recovering..
They have a public chat feature, we can try asking them to remove it there, however I don't know the success chance of that (sorry). Worst case scenario we could probably just ask that they include a "This was made by BokuBoy on scribblehub" or something along those lines, I've seen similar stuff before.
@Luka116 Yeah, unscrupulous people like that will always claim they did nothing wrong while literally stealing someone's work. Even if they say where it came from, they are still taking that extra traffic and views from here and profiting from it.
Also, the site has a rule against posting links to another site, especially the original work. What a surprise, right? Rotten b*st*rds.

This might be the last chapters for a few days. My area is going to be hit with a hurricane of at least 160mph winds and massive flooding. The news expects power outages lasting days. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it will pass by and not cause too much damage.

And please don't BBQ in the storm. At my place there was a similar event last year - which I had no warning for since I had the covid and was in bed all week - and suddenly a dog flew in front of my window. Bunker down, secure your stuff (maybe nail down your windows). Ideally in a cellar or real survival bunker.
My TOTALLY NOT SELF SERVING ADVICE would also be to take your laptop with you, as I'm sure writing would be relaxing in such a situation 😅❤️
buy at least 2-3 packs of water bottles and dry milk and get yourself canned food just in case your electricity goes out also you can pick up a pack of ice for a cooler and get yourself some cold cuts for sandwiches. I live in hurricane alley I know how it feels to go through this on a yearly bases. One more thing hope you have a basic medkit if not get yourself one or make one look online you can make a kit for less then 100$ us.
I thought 160mph is not much but then i converted it in normal units and holy fuck!!! You should like run or something.
