Was idly looking through your reading list, saw you had a couple stories under 'completed' that had more chapters than where you had them bookmarked, and Demon Queened, which I know is putting out updates, pretty sure updated today even, so you might wanna take a look through there.

What happened to the abyss within?
Maybe when I'm a much more experienced author I'll be able to post stuff without a backlog and not worry about it but for now I am not ^^
It was starting to feel much more like a job and less like something I wanted to do because I liked it, sorry about that.
rest assured, I still have it on a google doc and I'm still working on it.

Thanks again for the feedback. As a new author, I'm always looking for ways to improve in my writing, so getting your opinion is appreciated. I had two questions for you. First, were there any other issues that you could point out with my story, characters, setting, writing, etc? Second, could you read the remaining chapters that are posted and provide feedback for those as well? Feel free to decline, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on most recent chapters. Thanks again for the feedback.
You could've also tried introducing the first few fairies by giving a PoV of how they got sent after the storm before meeting the main character.
I think the problem here is you tried to do too much of both and ended up getting something that succeeded in neither.
Lastly, try not to give people too many different names/terms to remember at once, I saw myself having to backtrack a few times in your story because I had forgotten who was who (and eventually abandoned doing that and stop caring about these characters entirely until they were more relevant to the plot).
I was currently at chapter 15 and I'll give a try to the rest.
Although I don't want to make you hate your story though or take away your pleasure of writing, I know I'm very difficult so don't let my critique go too much over your head! There were points I really liked (notably the settings, all the lore behind the fairies and the magic stuff was really cool).
