Chapter 7 of pushing buttons is coming in the coming days. Sadly, I have the bad news that no progress on chapter 8 has been made. I think I finally figured out what exactly I wanted/needed in it, but the issue now is actually writing it, and sadly, every time I've looked at a gdoc lately, I've just been hit with a massive spike of anxiety. (1/?)
I... don't know where to go from here. I don't have any positive news to give you, nor to look forward to. I've run out of things ahead that could've been the missing piece to get me to write again. And job seeking IRL is... Well that's never a pleasant thing, and I can't say it's going at a great pace.

It's ok to not be ok. It's ok to "just get by". Be kind to yourself, and if you need a break then let yourself have whatever time it takes to get back to a better place.
I'm sorry to hear that things are not going well. Wonder if you are needing a different dosage or version of the ADHD meds. Some people don't work well with generics... I understand the job problems. Mine mostly come from motivation.

Also, yesterday I did a thorough editing pass on chapter 1 of Ranma 2 in 1. It should read a lot better now.
My HP fic will be ported to scribblehub in the coming days (and hopefully should get a new chapter both here and on ao3 in the weeks following), and pushing buttons chapter 6 will arrive in a week or two. I also have chapter 7 for next month, but 8 is what I'm stalled on at the moment, though we'll get to that bridge when we get there.
I'm... tentatively hopeful at the idea I might be writing again, although at a glacial pace. Hopefully the trend continues.
I know that feeling all too well... hopefully if you keep going at the glacial pace, it'll eventually melt and flood you with words! (It worked for me last time)

I'm still deeply stalled on everything writing at the moment. My brain just hasn't been working correctly (or at least in broken ways that I'm at least used to) for basically months now. If you want to help, I would be forever appreciative if you could recommend your favorite story from my catalogue to friends of yours you think would enjoy it too. Or you can also help by rereading, leaving comments, leaving reviews, anything you haven't done yet. That kind of support means a lot to me.

Apologies, ive been struggling to write for a good while now. I still have a few chapters of pushing buttons in a buffer that I’ll publish at most one month apart each, just to keep the barest minimum of momentum going, but otherwise I’m basically at a dead stop right now. (Cont)
I want to continue writing and I want this to be my long term income, but adhd brain has decided that the passion isn’t here anymore, at least for the time being. Fingers crossed it’ll come back some day… Fingers crossed threefold.
