While Rena-cchi was busy making 200 bottles of Holy Water, Hecate received a payment of ¥3 million from Mercury Corp.

The money was the payment of the bed frame commission.

Mercury Courier Service truly is fast and reliable. Since she had already received the payment, that means Ouma had received the item. Now, her wallet has become fat again.

It hasn't been that long since her last recharge, so there are still plenty of gems. Hecate did not plan to recharge gems for the time being. However, since she had the leeway funds, there is no reason to be frugal.

For this hunt, she opened the cash shop and bought several scrolls.

Hecate bought 300 water related spell scrolls for a total cost of 4.000 (¥200.000).

'This should be enough.'

The cash shop provides low-grade spell scrolls that can be cast by tier-1 Job-classes, such as Cleric and Mage. The scroll can be used by all classes, but of course, the resulting output depends on their INT stat.

So by using these scrolls, anyone with good INT status can pretend to be playing as a Mage or a Cleric.

However, the scrolls can also be crafted with the Scholar Jobclass skill, called Create Scroll. There was no need to buy them using gems. Hence, this section of the Cash Shop has been abandoned by Players. But, it was a lifesaving for Hecate who lack the time to collect those scrolls from the market.

In this hunt, it might be dangerous for her to rely solely on spells from her equipment. Because she wouldn't be able to do anything if she ran out of spells. If that happens, then her current build will be exposed to Rena and friends.

That won't be good.

And so, Hecate followed Rena and friends and entered the gate with the scrolls in her inventory.

On the other side of the gate, the party arrived at a place surrounded by a valley.

It was called The Valley of Death by their Game Interface.

This place is near the entrance to the Mausoleum, the dungeon that the party intended to explore. A corridor crystal can't be used to open a gate inside the dungeon or a city. Hence, they can only arrive outside the entrance.

Kazu looked around but couldn't find the so-called entrance. He then asked Rena-cchi.

"So, where is the dungeon?"

"A few meters in front of us. We have to walk a little bit."

Rena-cchi answered cautiously, without pointing the direction.

There was a reason why she didn't save the coordinate right in front of the entrance. The reason was because, behind them, the gate was still opened, and a few of curious people came out of it.

• • "Wait! Where is this?"
  • "What the hell! We're not in a city?"
  • "Syieettt! I have been duped!"

People that came out from the gate couldn't help but expressed their indignation. They frantically went back, only to find the gate was a one-way pass and can't be entered from their side.

Some people went to check the area, thinking to go back by foot. But, only to find the area behind them were filled by high-leveled monsters. Those monsters have level 80 and above, completely above their level.

And as the gate opens, more and more people appeared, until the gate shuts out completely.

The situation was chaotic for a while.

Kazu watched these people with a sneer.

"A bunch of idiots... Did they not see the CC in Rena's hand when the gate opens?"

"Don't say that, they probably haven't seen people using a Corridor Gate before."

Rena-cchi replied with a sigh.

Of course, this situation was still within Rena-cchi's expectation.

This because, the Teleportation Gate was rarely used since it needs  1.000.000 to activate. But when it activated, the gate will connect a passage to another city. A trip from city to city can take about 3 days, with the gate, it takes an instant. And the gate stayed open for 10 minutes. For people who want a free ride, those moment became a rare opportunity.

The Corridor Gate that Rena-cchi said is referring to the Teleportation Gate activated with a Corridor Crystal. 

There was almost no occurrence of people opening one in Capital City. In fact, when Genesis Guild raid party opens a Corridor Gate, they mostly did it from their guild base, Brynhildr Fort. Hence, when Rena-cchi activates the gate, they mistook it as a regular Teleportation Gate, and causes the current incident.

Hecate then said flatly.

"Let's go. It was their fault to begin with. We had nothing to do with them."

There is nothing good dealing with angry mobs.

"Wait, are we abandoning them?"

"Don't worry, Rena. Outside the valley is Ornus Village, I'll ask someone who is free at the base to escort them there."

Emilia replied, seemingly agreed with Hecate.

The Gravekeeper Village, Ornus. A village that protected the Mausoleum for generations, or so they say in the story. It was from there that they got the location of the dungeon they wanted to explore today.

And the village can be reached from their guild base in about 30 minutes by a war horse.

"Besides, there are many ways for them to return. For example, by using a guild skill, Return Base."

"Emily is right. Otherwise, a Town Scroll or Return Crystal can also do the job."

Kazu added in.

Return Base, is a skill that can be used if their guild has a registered base. And the minimum requirements to register a base is quite simple. Any property building that they owned can be used as a guild base. Its just, the skill can only be used once per day.

Town Scroll can be used to teleport to a town or city designated by the scroll, and Return Crystal can be used to teleport to a Save-Point, provided they set their respawn point on a Save-Crystal.

"But, if they are clever, they should have noticed instead of bickering like that."

Emilia shook her head with a sigh.

The party walked unimpeded without anyone from the crowd to notice. This is thanks to Kazu who activated his Shadow Assassin skill, Presence Concealment beforehand.

It is said that when someone used this skill, they still appear in other's vision but hard to recognize.

A few moments later, they arrived at a cliff that have several meters deep.

The entrance to the dungeon was hidden below the cliff and the party have to jump down a bit. Before they jump, Rena-cchi buffed the entire party to reduce the fall damage.

"O Licht the Spirit of Light! Heed my call and grant this one your power! Regeneration!
... Blessing! ... Angelus! ... Magnificat!"

Immediately after Rena-cchi used her skill, Hecate received a system notification.

The skill used by Rena-cchi has buffed her status considerably, except Regeneration buff which only restores her HP in a tiny amount. But that can't be helped because her low Max HP, which is only 7.100.

After Rena-cchi finished her buff to everyone, she nodded and the party jumped off the cliff simultaneously.

Then, when they landed, they turned their gaze behind.

A huge door carved with exquisite ornament was there.
