Hey, long time no see!
I hope you're still in the Bowsette world, three years since the meme took the internet by storm. The way this story exploded was so intense it still feels like a blur to me, and this wasn't even a fraction of the popularity that other Bowsette fan material got. It was just THAT big a deal in September and October 2018.
Over the years, a lot of people have asked for a Glory of Bowsette sequel, and I can neither confirm nor deny any allegations levied in that regard. A lot of people have suggested I make an original fiction "remake" of the story, too, and I've become very interested in the idea lately.
What do you think?

It might be a while since this old story finished, but I hope you have fond memories of Bowsette and Peach and the whole gang, because I certainly do.

Did The Rewrite ever come to fruition?
No, my life got turned totally upside-down in 2022 and 2023 and I haven't had time to write something like this. It might come in the future though; a fair number of people actually responded which was cool. Definitely stay subscribed in case it comes someday.
I missed the whole Bowsette meme, so I actually thought she was an official character. I mean there was enough content related to her for someone like me, who hasn't really played a "Mario" game since Brawl, to think she was introduced in some party, or sport game. I mean there are already plenty of female variants of established characters to diversify the roster in such games. So it wasn't much of a stretch to expect something like Bowsette.
I really do hope she becomes canon in the future, even if it is just as an option in a party game.
Haha she IS very close to an official character in style and even design. The original artist did a great job creating the ultimate waifu.

3 years...wow, hard to believe it's been that long. I remember when it was exploding in popularity. Golemancer Girlfriend is already in my massive backlog of things to read.
Yeah! Well it's only been 1 year since this fic came to Scribble Hub, at least, haha. And I hope you read Golemancer soon; it's posting daily right now so it's already a whole novel length long, and I think any Bowsette fan will really enjoy it.
