The person? yelling looked down at her form in a lake once again before launching into another tirade at the sky. After several minute's of yelling herself hoarse she finally calmed down enough to take stock of her body only to grimace again.

[How is Austin even supposed to recognize me like this, I don't look anything like myself anymore!?!] - ???

That's right, the person yelling her heart out is Karen and as for why she's so pissed off the reason is.... because she is now a slime. Not a slime girl or slime person. Just a small blue blob. As she freaked out of the hundredth time a notification appeared in front of her eyes? and after reading it she was slightly more hopeful.

[So I guess I just have to deal with this for now, but the question is how do I gain experience in this form... If conventional RPG wisdom is anything to go by I can be basically one-shot by anyone with a Cypress Stick.] - Karen

Reading through her notification again she read the line about Physical Attack resistance, she didn't know what Pure Physical was but it was probably an attack without anything extra added. Smiling? to herself she thought that maybe she might be super OP now so she was getting excited.

The last line was a bit confusing though because she hadn't seen anything resembling a menu yet. The second she thought that a screen flashed in front of her and pulling up her status information she smiled inwardly at what was shown thinking about how easy it would be to level up with what was being shown.

In another part of the world a huge flash of light accompanied the end of a long ritual, since this was a common event the mage's involved didn't spare it a thought and they all peered at the figure crouched in the center of the magic circle. Seeing that it was a young girl the head mage smirked before showing a huge smile on his face and approaching the young girl.

[Welcome to the Holy Church of Light Otherworlder! You have been summoned to help us in our time of need as the advent of the Demon God's awakening is upon us.] - Head Mage

The young girls eye's flashed and she pushed past the head mage before he or the other mages could react. Leaving only one sentence behind her as she strode out of the room.

[I don't care about some Demon God's awakening, I only came here to find my Big Brother... He won't leave me behind this time!] - Young Girl
