16, Month Fall-Quatre, Year Elizabeth 402

07:30, Elizabeth Magic Academy

Wilson went to his class quite earlier this day as this morning he didn’t practice like always—he couldn’t focus on practice anyway. The boys look blank and distracted, he didn’t even know what time he came to class. While still on the session with sage Khun, he looked very resolute, now though, some slight hesitation started to kick in.

Am I really going to confront it?

He looked at the bandage on his right arm. He then thought back to the day when this urge started to appear. It was indeed around the same time the school started. He couldn’t really remember for sure that it appeared before or after he met with teacher Elnora, but he reckoned that it was probably the latter.

Thinking back though, he didn’t really pay it much attention first. Only when the urge appeared in his mind that he become more concerned about it. The first thought that came to his mind was to suppress it and to run away from it. He was scared by it that never once would he consider the option to confront it squarely.

If it was really his thought, what exactly was the thing that it was trying to say?

Why did it insist on killing? Especially teacher Elnora. What is the difference between her and other teachers?

Countless thoughts ran through his mind, but it never got answered.

Perhaps, only sage Khun knew the truth behind all of this matter.

Wilson shook his head, he tried to focus and walked to his desk, only to notice that there was someone else in the classroom.

It was a girl with beautiful blonde hair. Noticed that someone came in, she turn around to look back at Wilson too. Her mesmerizing blue eyes which captivated many male students stared straight at him.

Alice Claude, seated at her desk, looked different than her usual self. It was probably because she was currently alone, without everyone flocking around her, so there was no trace of annoyance in her face. The girl looked serene as if she was a part of a painting.

While they were in the same class and there were of the same rank, a descendant of a duke family, they hadn’t actually interacted that much. Wilson looked at her then bow slightly as a greeting before proceeded to his seat as usual.

But—

“SealedFate.”

“…!”

What? That is my username in the session this morning. But…? How? Why?

Millions of questions flashed in his mind, not one got out of his mouth though. He could only gulp loudly and turned toward the girl once more.

Only to see that she was smiling slightly. Her face was still cold, but Wilson could even see a slight trace of happiness in her.

You don’t have to be so tense.” Alice laughed. “I was also in the stream this morning too.”

“Stream?” hearing the unusual word, Wilson asked confusedly.

“It is a word that other followers of sage Khun use. It refers to his wisdom chamber and other types of sessions.” Alice explained.

“Sage Khun…! So—” Wilson gasped. But before he could continue he get silent by the girl in front of him.

“Shh! Be a little quieter.”

“I… I apologize for my rude behavior.”

“Um.” Alice nodded. “It seems like sage Khun dislike attention, after all. So we have to keep his identity a secret, okay?”

“Yes. That is what I intend to in the first place. It was just a little shocking just now.” Wilson nodded. If the person with such wisdom and power as a sage truly want to become famous, everyone would hear about him already. The fact that this was the first time Wilson heard his name confirmed this suspicion of him.

“Let’s talk about this somewhere else.” seeing that the boy still wanted to say more, Alice suggested.

“Um.” He replied, but the other person didn’t really wait for his answer at all. She already got up and went out the door already. Wilson sighed exasperatedly before hurriedly walked after her.

The two walked in silence until they came out of the school building. Alice led him to a secluded section of the garden before turned around to face him once more.

“So, what do you want to ask?” Alice said after making sure that there was no one else in the vicinity.

“Um… Are you also listening to his stream?” not sure what to ask yet, Wilson started with the obvious one first.

“Yes.” Alice replied then continue. “I am LittleSnow.”

“So… That’s you...Wait—” hearing her answer, Wilson nodded in understanding. Before something suddenly flashed in his mind.

“So the reason you could complete your breakthrough was…?”

“Yes… It was because of him.” Alice said. Her face showed a smiled, it was a smile that was entirely different than Wilson had seen from her before. It was sincere and enthusiastic.

“If it was not for him, I would probably still be ridiculed by those bunch of people.”

“Yeah…” Wilson agreed. He had seen when she was getting scorned after all.

“So, he is really knowledgeable…” muttered the boy.

“Yes!” Alice said immediately.

“That’s really amazing, huh?”

“Yes!” Alice said, immediately as before.

“…”

“…”

“Ahem!…But, my situation is different from you…” Wilson coughed once before continued. After all, the situation regarding the breakthrough only required some guidance. But for him, it required something entirely different.

KILL.

He had to confront his own thought, and probably had to fight with his teacher—Elnora, for a reason he didn’t even know yet.

“I am not really sure now if I should do it after all.” Wilson sighed. He then shook his head slightly.

“You are still not sure… Why?”

“It was my urge to kill, alright? And to teacher Elnora no less.”

“But it was the solution that sage Khun suggested, right?” Alice cocked her head confusedly. “Don’t think too much about it. If it was what sage Khun proposed, then it is all a-okay.”

“You… How could accept an urge to kill someone is a-okay? Never mind...”

This person is too far gone now…

Wilson decided that he probably should end this conversation and backed away slowly. “The class is starting… Let’s go back.”

“No!” But Alice didn’t let that happened. Before he could turn away, she grabbed him by the corner of his shirt.

“No?”

“I couldn’t let you go while doubting great sage.” said the girl resolutely.

“…” Wilson was speechless. But the grabbed of the girl was too strong for him. After all, she was one rank ahead of him. Even if she was a mage, the rank difference made up for that.

“Don’t worry, as the number one follower of sage Khun. I will help you analyze your situation!” Alice put her hand on her chest proudly before continued again without waiting for any response from Wilson.

“...”

“So, if I recall correctly. That killing urge of you is a part of yourself, right?”

“Yes...” as he couldn’t escape, Wilson answered the girl’s question. “And that’s what I don’t understand at all. Why would a part of me want to kill her?”

Wilson only realized that he forgot to ask that question after the session end. Now, with no one to ask, he was left alone, confused.

“Hmm…” Alice closed her eyes thoughtfully. She was silent for about thirty seconds before she continued.

“What if there was something in you that suspect teacher Elnora?”

“Suspect…?”

“For example, she was secretly a bad person and that part of you suspect of it. It then wants to eliminate her.” Alice continued with her reasoning. “And great sage realized that. That is why he suggested that you should accept that urge and confront her.”

“Hmm…”

This time, Wilson closed his eyes. The reason Alice provided, while seemed a little far-fetched, was surprisingly logical.

That was only if one regarded sage Khun’s explanation as correct, of course.

“If that is the case, then it is kind of make sense.” Wilson muttered.

“Don’t worry too much. If something goes wrong, I will try to stop you. We are fellow sage Khun’s followers after all.” Alice suggested, which Wilson accepted thankfully.

I am not really his followers though...

“I will count on you then. I will send a letter to her this evening and ask her for a meeting.” Wilson said resolutely. This time, the confidence he had when he had a conversation with sage Khun returned.

And if she is really a threat to me then, I will accept this killing urge of mine. And battle with her!

Today should be the day that SealedFate confesses to his teacher, right?

The thought of the boy from last night couldn’t help but come into my mind again. It was about him and his one-sided feeling to his beautiful teacher.

The image of a shy boy who works up his courage and ask to meet his teacher in the back of the school appears in my mind. He was nervous as this is his first confession in his entire life, but he has no regret!

He wants to let this feeling out no matter what.

He wants to let her know of his pure love for her.

Even if he was getting rejected!

This is such a heroic scene… but it could only end in sadness.

Sigh...

Thinking about that only makes me feel pity for that boy.

After all, he only makes those choices because of me encouraging him. If he doesn’t realize his feeling until the end he wouldn’t have to get hurt, right?

While he would probably regret that he hasn’t told her his love, it would probably be better than to get hurt from the rejection.

After all, what is confessing to your teacher mean?

What is the success rate of it?

Even in manga and anime, I have enjoyed in the past, doesn’t have that high percentage of the teacher-student relationship at all.

Only in Hen*** that there would be some niche in that kind of story. (Source: My friends. Yes. My friends, not me.)

But in real life...

Sigh...

After all, a teacher is one of those professions that have their own ethic they have to follow. Dating one own’s student would probably too much of a backlash for them.

And most of the teachers would probably doesn’t see their own students as a love interest at all. The age difference is also a factor. They probably only see their student as a child, never take their love too seriously.

Some probably won’t even take their confession seriously!

They only treat it as admiration from a student!

So with this, how could the success rate of this confession be that high? That is why this is probably the most difficult battle for him yet.

I hope that he wouldn’t be too depressed after his inevitable failure.

For now, let just pray for him.

While thinking about that, I open my channel and post a new status.

[Sage Khun Ch.: Let’s all have a minute of silence for our potential fallen comrade today.]

[LittleSnow: What is this, sage?]

[LittleSnow: F]

[SealedFate: F]

It seems like my subscribers are very active these days. Reading all the replies that came within a minute, I couldn’t help but become very satisfied.

Wait!

Why are you also F yourself, SealedFate!?

Don’t jinx it!

Anyway…

[Sage Khun Ch.: F]

With so many people already started, how could I not join in? Right?

But…

I really pray that your confession go well though, boy.
