After reading the system notifications, Shido tried to use 'Overhaul' on the wall, when suddenly the knowledge of how to use 'Overhaul' was filled in his mind. Shido had to spend some time to sort out the knowledge which was filled in mind. This sudden influx made Shido conclude it as a function of the system, as CJ can use various weapons when CJ is clearly a small-time gangster, not a trained mercenary.

Shido then used the quirk on the wall, which made a hole in the wall, then a twister, and several other shapes. Having a good mastery over the quirk, Shido looked for the basic anatomy of the calf and videos related to surgeries on the calf to get a decent knowledge before the surgery, as he cannot go and perform the surgery without any knowledge on a little girl. After all the basic things are done, he left the room.

Shido walked into the living room of the apartment, where Knuckleduster, Mr. Fantastic, and La Brava were present. La Brava was talking with Gentle when she turned her head to see their team leader approaching them.

"How was the fight, Chief, how are you now?"-La Brava

'Took you long enough to notice.' Shido said internally.

"I am fine, La Brava. Thanks for the concern and the Boss of the Yakuza is dead."-Shido

"Yaayy, The mission is over and the yakuza are eliminated. Heroes won and Villains lost."-La Brava said while raising her arms in the air.

Shido shook his head, "We are neither heroes nor they are villains, it is how you are perceiving the information. In front of the government and public, we are vigilantes and they are criminals. We have already broken the law by using our quirks without a license and took the law into our hands to punish the bad guys. There is a very fine line that separates us from them, that is we don't hurt civilians."-Shido

Listening to this, La Brava's mood downed a bit. Looking at her, Shido walks to her and placed a hand on her head, to which She looks up at Shido.

"Somebody had to say it. You need to be self-conscious about this, the sooner the better. You cannot act like a bunch of hero-wannabe, upholding justice just because we want the recognition of the society."-Shido

He looked at La Brava and removed his hand from her head.

"We did this to punish the bad guys who were not punished by the authorities and the heroes. We did this because we wanted to do this."-Shido

La Brava now had a determined expression on her face, which made Shido smile under his face. He then turned towards the others. Mr. Fantastic also had a determined and serious expression on his face, while Knuckleduster had a mocking smile on his face, which made Shido's eyes twitch, under his helmet. He looked towards La Brava

"Can you tell me what happened after you came here with the girl?"-Shido

"The girl was silent during our whole 'air travel', she didn't ask anything so we didn't pester her. When we reached the apartment, we fed her some cakes we had in the fridge. She was behaving well. Gentle then went to bring you back but met Knuckleduster on the way, so he brought him back first. Knuckleduster told us about the GPS chip, so I decided to scan the girl with the scanner but when I brought my scanner near she started screaming and flailing, we didn't know what to do so Knuckleduster had to knock her down unconscious, and then, I scanned her."-La Brava

Shido nodded, listening to La Brava's explanation, he understood what happened.

"Do you know what happened to her Chief?"-La Brava asked Shido since she thinks she made a mistake while scanning the girl.

"Well, I think she has developed a fear of medical or scientific equipment when used on her. It may be due to PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Syndrome) or she has developed a phobia."-Shido

Listening to Shido's answer there was a bit of confusion so nobody said anything, Shido understanding the reason for confusion, continued

"The little girl we rescued is not the only granddaughter of the BOSS of the yakuza, she is also the research material for the drug I mentioned during the briefing of the mission."-Shido

This sentence was enough for all of them to understand why the girl was so important to the acting Boss (Overhaul) and why was she imprisoned in the underground base. If they normally wanted her to not leave the base, they could've used locked the door and use some guards to make sure she doesn't get away as she is an important figure (granddaughter of the BOSS).

La Brava's mood plummeted, she thinks it's her fault for the panic attack.

"I am sorry... I didn't know she has suffered.."-La Brava started apologizing in a small tone.

"You don't have to apologize, it was my fault for not revealing this information and It is not the time to cry over spilled milk, we still have to remove the chip from her."-Shido

"Do you have a way to remove the chip?"-Knuckleduster

"Yes, but I need one person to help me during the procedure."-Shido

The listeners started looking at each other, they didn't know what to do. La Brava wanted to correct her mistake, so she raised her hand.

"I will do it Chief."- La Brava

"I do not approve. I will have to open her calf to remove the chip, and you clearly have never experienced gore, so you will not be a suitable candidate."-Shido

La Brava had her head looking down, with her fist clenched. Shido patted her head.

"As I said, it's not your fault so there is no need for you to correct the mistake you never did."-Shido, then pointed to Knuckleduster.

"Knuckleduster, you come with me."-Shido said and went to the Eri

Knuckleduster sighed and went to the room. He looked at Shido, who was preparing to wake up the girl. Shido sprinkled some water on Eri's face, which made her wake up. She looked at her surroundings in fear. Shido then placed his hand over Eri's head and started patting her.

"You don't have to worry, the bad guys are gone now, they will never come to trouble you again."-Shido

Eri couldn't believe what the man in black costume said; her nightmare, that man was gone and will never come to her again, how can she believe this.

"Really?"-Eri

"Yes, We have defeated them and scolded them to never come to trouble Eri again."-Shido

"Will... I will be.. able to live a normal life?"-Eri

"Yes"-Shido

Eri cannot believe the man but still wanted to believe what he said, Tears started coming out of her eyes, as the torment flashed through her mind. Shido took her in a hug in haste, as he doesn't know what to do to calm down a little girl. He looked at Knuckleduster for help, but he just shrugged, showing he also doesn't know what to do. Shido and Eri stayed in the same position, Eri crying and Shido patting her back. After a while, Eri stopped crying and broke from the hug. Shido placed her on the bed.

Shido pointed to her calf, "What is that bump on your leg?"

"It was placed by.. him, so I cannot.. run away."Eri

"Want me to remove it?"-Shido

Eri was astonished and looked at Shido, if what the man said is true, then she can walk properly again. Eri nodded her head in agreement. Shido then explained to her that he will make an incision and remove the chip, and the process will be a bit painful. Eri still agreed. Shido turned to Knuckleduster.

"Give her some painkillers."-Shido

Knuckleduster took some painkillers from his stock and gave them to Eri. Knuckleduster is a quirkless person fighting villains with powerful quirks, the painkiller is a thing he usually carries with him. Eri took the painkillers and laid down on her stomach.

"Just distract her attention while I am removing the chip."-Shido

"How I'm supposed to do that?"-Knuckleduster

"Show her some kids video on the internet or something."-Shido

Knuckleduster complied and placed a laptop he borrowed from La Brava and started Tom and Jerry for Eri to watch. Shido started the operation without any equipment.

Everything went in slow motion for Shido as his perception speed increased. He made a straight line with his finger on Eri's calf while using Overhaul, which made the calf open up like a  blooming flower, showing the GPS chip. Shido quickly removed it and started reorganizing the deformed muscle fibers of her calf. When the reorganization started, Even under the effect of the painkiller, Eri couldn't keep up with the pain and started screaming.

Knuckleduster who was constantly watching Eri, took her hand in his hand to relieve her but noticed that the horn on her head started glowing. When Knuckleduster wanted to ask Shido what is happening, he felt a sensation going through his body and he started grunting.

Shido who was focused on the reorganization of the muscle fibers, also noticed a sensation flowing through his body, he looked at Eri's glowing horn and understood what was happening to him, he started spamming {HESOYAM} to negate the effect of the energy flowing through him. He then looked at the grunting Knuckleduster.

"Take your hand away from her and leave the room."-Shido

"I... CAN'T"-Knuckleduster.

Shido placed his other hand on the neck of Eri and fused his fingers to the back of her neck. Now he was connected to Eri, which means Eri is connected to the system, Eri's horn started dimming down under the calming effect of the system, but she still felt pain. The energy flowing through Shido and Knuckleduster is subsidized. Knuckleduster passed out on the floor after the energy stopped flowing through him. Shido completed the re-organization of the muscles, he closed the calf and then

Eri's calf healed completely and looked similar to the calf on her other leg. Shido didn't break the connection on Eri's neck as she still need to calm her mind after going through the operation without any equipment or anesthesia. After some time, Shido broke the fusion when Eri's breath returned to normal. Shido went to the passed-out Knuckleduster and picked him up like a sack of potatoes and left the room. He returned to the living room and threw him on the couch.

La Brava and Danjuro(Mr. Fantastic) quickly approached Shido and asked about the operation. Shido told them all is well and Eri just passed out as she is exhausted from the operation. La Brava pointed to Knuckleduster who was passed out on the couch.

"What happened to him?"-La Brava

"The girl's quirk went out of her control, he and I were in contact with her. I had the means to overcome the effects of her quirk but Knuckleduster didn't, so he passed out."-Shido

La Brava nodded and went to Eri's room, to take care of Eri. Danjuro sat down on a chair while making tea for others. Shido also sat down. After some time, Shido's phone started ringing, It was Fuyumi's call. He went out of the room and was now on the balcony of the apartment. He took the call.

:: Hello Shido, How are you?::-Fuyumi

"I am fine Fuyumi, what happened you sound anxious and you also called so early in the morning?"-Shido

:: Dad got a call from the association to come to Hosu city as there was a big case. So I also woke up early. I was feeling anxious for some reason so I thought I should call you::-Fuyumi

"It's okay, so how are your days going without me there for you?"-Shido tried to act a bit cheeky to lighten the mood

:: Well sorry to disappoint you, but my days are going completely fine and I am having a blast here without you::-Fuyumi

Shido's lips twitched a bit listening to this,

"Since you are having so much fun without me, then I should move to Hosu city permanently, so you can have the 'blasts' every day."-Shido

:: NOO!!, That's not what I meant...::-Fuyumi

"Hehe, Don't take it seriously Fuyumi, I was just teasing you."-Shido

:: You big meanie, dumb dunking dunce idiot::-Fuyumi started giving out insults without meaning to Shido, like a kid.

When Shido was talking with Fuyumi, Danjuro opened the door and shouted

"THE LITTLE GIRL IS NOW CONSCIOUS, COME QUICKLY."-Danjuro

The urgency was clear in Danjuro's voice, Shido nodded to Danjuro,

"I will call you back later, Love You."-Shido said and hung up the call.

Fuyumi on the other side heard what Danjuro said

"Girl conscious.. another guy... little girl."-Fuyumi started muttering what she heard.

'Little girl is conscious that means she was unconscious. And why the other guy said this in an urgent tone.'

Shido entered the room, found Eri talking with La Brava. Shido found Knuckleduster also present in the room. He ignored him for now and went to Eri,

"How are you feeling now?"-Shido

"I am feeling.. good and there is.. no pain in my leg now."-Eri

"Did you tried walking?"-Shido

Eri shook her head in denial. Shido took her hands and urged her to leave the bed and try walking. Eri tried walking but stumbled after few steps, but didn't fell on the floor as Shido was holding her hands. She tried a few times but still stumbled. Eri said there is no pain while walking now.

"It will take some time and practice, after that you will be able to walk without any problem."-Shido

Shido then turned to Knuckleduster,

"How are you? any changes in your body?"-Shido

Knuckleduster had his eyes widened but he didn't reply. Shido shook his head and threw a punch towards Knuckleduster at a very high speed. Knuckleduster instinctively dodged the attack which was clearly faster than Knuckleduster's range of perception. Shido smiled under the helmet.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING??"-Knuckleduster

Shido shook his head and didn't say anything to Knuckleduster. He turned to Eri.

"You watch some cartoons here and have some rest, we will be outside the room."-Shido said this and turned to the others. The others left the room with Shido.

Shido gestured others to gather at the dining table. Everyone took a seat, then Shido took his seat,

"Well.. now all the problems are resolved, so you guys will leave the city around the rush hours as discussed."-Shido

"This is Gentle's and my apartment, Chief"- La Brava

Shido was a bit embarrassed but didn't say anything just nodded.

"How are all the problems are solved, the remnants of Shie Hassaikai are still there, don't you resolve them too?"-Knuckleduster

"You don't have to worry about that. Someone else will take care of that."-Shido

"Who?"-Knuckleduster

"The Suppliers of American Trigger in Japan."-Shido

"Why?"-Knuckleduster

"Remember the rumor we spread before the raid, It had 2 objectives, first Putting Shie Hassaikai out in front of the entire Underworld in the limelight, which is opposite to their act of secrecy to prevent the news of the drug to be released. The second objective was to justify the attack on Shie Hassaikai."-Shido

"How does it justify our attack on the yakuza?"-Danjuro

"Shie Hassaikai was in the limelight for the news of a more potent trigger in the Underworld, this made several groups which supply American triggers animus towards Shie Hassaikai and some groups interested in the new more potent trigger. So, the attack can be connected to a group who wanted to steal the trigger for themselves but failed to do so and destroyed the base or connected to American trigger Suppliers who wanted to crush the upcoming competitors."-Shido

They all nodded after listening to the explanation.

"But it also achieved one more objective."-Shido

"What is it?"-Knuckleduster

"If the government and authorities reveal the fact that the attack was done by Vigilantes and the attacked building in the residential area was really a base of a Yakuza, then there will be public outrage, then the government will kill the remnants of Shie Hassaikai, to appease the public but if the government decides to hide it, then the American Trigger Suppliers (ATS) will be doing the killing of remaining Shie Hassaikai, as then the attack will be connected to them, and they will show this as a show of their might and give a warning to others, what would happen if they attracted the ire of the ATS."-Shido

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as the mission was finally over.

Shido then stood up from his seat and waved his hand, three briefcases appeared in front of the three members. The members were not surprised as he has frequently taken things out of nowhere several times.

"What is this?"-Knuckleduster

"Your reward. Open it."-Shido

When the members opened the briefcase, they were stunned as the briefcase was filled with well-stacked bundles of cash. They looked at Shido in astonishment.

"I thank you all for participating in this mission and making it reach success. I think this reward will be sufficient."-Shido

"I refuse."-Danjuro

"Me too"-La Brava

"Me as well"-Knuckleduster

"I thought it was to your suiting."-Shido

"What do you take us for? Do we look like a group of mercenaries that you hired for the mission? I thought we were a team which was to punish the bad guys who were not punished by the government."-Danjuro

"Are your thoughts the same as him?"-Shido asked the other two members. The two nodded.

"Was this only a one-time thing? It was very fun and efficient to deal with bad guys while being a part of the team."-La Brava

"I also think it's more efficient."-Knuckleduster

Shido sighed

"Do you want to make this team permanent?"-Shido

The three members nodded

"Okay, so the team is from now on permanent."-Shido said and again waved his hands, four late-1990s clamshell phones appeared on the table.

"This will be our communicating device, no one can track the calls or jam the network of this phone."-Shido then went on explaining the features of the phone.

"The phone is cool and all but we are forgetting something important."-La Brava

"What is it?"-Shido

"A team name."-Danjuro

Shido shook his head, "Why don't you suggest some."-Shido

"Ohh Ohh, it can be La Fantastic Knuckle Slash, it contains a part of our names."-La Brava

"No my dear La Brava, it doesn't carry the elegance it should have, The team shall be called Team Masquerade."-Danjuro

The two went to their own world to discuss the name of the team, Shido looked towards Knuckleduster if he had a suggestion, to which he just shook his head. Shido then called all of them to gather their attention.

"How about...."

Fuyumi was walking towards the kitchen, but she was lost in thought. The reason being the sentence the unknown man said 'The little girl is now conscious, come quickly' in an urgent tone.

'What is Shido hiding from me? Why a little girl was ...unconscious and.... he had to go there urgently.'

Several thoughts were going through Fuyumi's head with one of them being.

'Is Shido a kidnapper who kidnaps little kids with his accomplices to satisfy their weird hobbies?'

She entered the kitchen while being lost in her thoughts. While walking absentmindedly in the kitchen, she tripped over the table leg and hit her head on the edge of the kitchen platform, and fell unconscious on the floor.

Natsuo, who heard the sound of something falling came to the kitchen. He rushed when he saw Fuyumi was lying on the ground unconscious with a bleeding wound on her head. He crouched down near Fuyumi and shook Fuyumi a bit.

"Nee-chan, Nee-chan are you okay??!!"-Natsuo

Natsuo quickly called the emergency number to call for an ambulance.

Fuyumi opened her eyes with difficulty, her mind being groggy. She saw Natsuo and Shoto standing near her. She found out she was in a hospital bed with an IV drip connected to her hand. She looked at Natsuo and Shoto,

"What happened, why are we here?"-Fuyumi

"You fell in the kitchen, got a bleeding wound on your head, now you are in a hospital."-Natsuo

"Is it serious?"-Fuyumi

"Nothing serious, you will be discharged by the evening."-Natuso

"That's good"-Fuyumi said and tried to leave the bed but stumbled.

Natsuo grabbed her arm, preventing her from falling. he then helped her lying on the bed.

"Everything is okay, I have talked with your colleague she said she will inform the administration about it, you should just rest for now."-Natsuo

Fuyumi complied and closed her eyes. Natsuo and Shoto left the room.

When Fuyumi drifted to sleep.
