AN: Some people don't know about Dusk so I will make a little introduction on what she can do. Note that she only appeared in one event and most of the things related to her are left unclear for a possible future event. The events main focus is foreshadowing, back story and world-building.

( Dusk : She has shown the ability to affect 'reality' with her paintings projecting them or making them appear, the most basic one is the creation of monsters and the more advanced one shown is the creation(painting) of a door that leads inside a painting, she can control who enters and who exits. It works like a mini world

The painting shown is a village with people who are attacked every night by monsters and then restored the next day. Saga, another character, lived for about 10 years inside the painting and managed to get out of it on her own, time flow outside of this painting was different.

The ink is the common in-game effect for her attacks and skills. I use it in the form of an element like fire, water, earth, etc)

--------------------     ----     -----------------

After making eye contact with Jeanne, I signaled for the stronger one. Jeanne nodded and directed her attention to the second Mid-Class devil while I tasked the [Ink] on the ground to finish the remaining Low-ranks.

I took the stronger one... Not because Jeanne is in any disadvantage fighting against a strong devil, she can hold even against one in the upper part of their rank but even with the advantage of the holy element Jeanne is still inclined towards defense rather than offense. The fight will take too much time.

...

Without a doubt the greatest advantage a devil has against a normal human is the ability to fly

And this devil is making use of his by keeping me a bay while firing spells of various elements from a safe range

But two can play that game...

Sadly... this way of attacking is too slow to hit a moving target even when predicting his trajectory, with their senses a devil can easily see where my magic powers is going to spawn [Ink] giving him enough time to evade the sphere that appeared between us

With a fast swing of my sword another one appeared on his back, trying to damage him through the shockwave from the explosion

The second is close enough to reach him but well... their use is not on their direct damage...

To take care of the second one the devil had no better option than turning around, this time using wind to throw the contents of the sphere into the air giving me a perfect opportunity to get close to him by jumping through his fire spell, using it as a smokescreen, while absorbing the impact with my hands

When drawing it's common for paint to stick in your hands... this gave my the idea of using [Ink] to absorb damage, creating something akin a magical armor

I placed a great amount of strength in this swing of my sword even making a black slash that shot towards his back but a flap and he is already at a safe distance from my slash

"Tsk"

" You need to do better than this... Kid "

Even if I didn't expect my attack to land, it's still annoying when your opponent can just fly away to evade your attacks...

But I need to do this if I want to limit his ability to fly...

Before a mocking smile could appear on his face, his heightened senses warned the devil of the changes happening all around.

Commanding the [Ink] left in the ground and the slash making it transform into hundred of birds that started to fly and flock all around. From normal birds to ravens and hawks, they came in all shapes and forms but of the same color...

The entire area became a dome of black dots moving around in a synchronized way, it is obvious that whatever is trapped inside will have a hard time coming out

A moving prison made of claws, beaks and wings!

They made sure of taking control of the sky and even harassing the devil while he was fighting on the ground. Taking away most of his vision by their sheer amount and his hearing thanks to the endless cries that came from everywhere

Even in the middle of the night He can easily spot the birds and even accurately hit some with spells, blasting some of the ones that come too close.

I remember another one of their annoying specs...

This idiot should be grateful for being a devil, without night vision the hundred of black figures would be almost impossible to detect at night by normal means.

The dives from the hawks are the most effective ones since they come almost too fast to react and from too far to detect, especially in the midst of so many beasts eyeing him like a meal ready to be hunted

between the harass of the ever-increasing of deadly beasts, and the addition of various monsters appearing in the ground blocking any intent of blasting the culprit of those damned beats, little a little the devil was losing the space to move around and his body started to show multiple wounds made by the swarm beaks claws and fangs. As small as the wounds are, hundreds of them can affect anyone.

" ENOUGH! "

Alongside the furious shout, a monstrous amount of demonic power exploded from his body!

And not long after the surroundings was covered by a discharge of lightning that took care of everything found in its path.

The thunder resulting from the spell was heard from a great distance, the sound alone would have disabled a normal human if they were near enough and ¡even some Low-class if caught by surprise!

Ahmya is not going to have another perfect chance like this one!

Recycling the leftovers from the spells before thousands of dots started to appear all around and then they started to be compressed from the size of a ball into that of a pebble...

This left the entire forest filled in blacks dots,as if someone stopped a rain in place!

"You think this is enough t-? !" The feeling of danger made him stop mid sentence and without thinking twice start using different spells to cover from himself from the incoming doom

"Ugh" the first hit was enough for the devil to understand the strength behind the spell, even with the pain from the impact He could analyze the situation enough to forget about his first plan and drive his entire focus towards protecting his more important organs, hoping to survive the the rest of the incoming onslaught.

But soon enough he started to notice that some of the spells were hovering around, waiting orders from their caster. He could see a silhouette from the corner of his eyes, the feeling of dread was getting clearer the more the damn human closed his hands

Surrounded with nowhere to run and no ways to defend himself the last thing the devil heard was the sound of multiple explosion following with an impact that squashed him from all sides
