since you are posting these pictures. give a brief summary about the houses of the future, such as what they do, the physical characteristics of the people who live in the house. I don't know if you already have this because I don't remember reading it, but I think it will help forgetful readers remember which house you're talking about. (sorry for bad english)

@Tsuno Depends on where you read them. If it was a scalper website, that is possible. But generally not the case for scribblehub and webnovel.
@Tsuno I've seen several stories, and not necessarily bad ones, here and on Royal Road where the authors post several chapters ahead on Patreon. Most of them are ongoing so you will eventually get to what is already on Patreon but by then there's yet more on Patreon.
It's not a bad business model for them IMO and the free readers still eventually get all the chapters. Only issues I've seen is when they end up publishing through Amazon which makes them pull things down from other places. The timing can make free readers lose some chapters on occasion.
@Tsuno I dunno about all but there might be some. Financially speaking, I already exhausted SH readerbase. Even if I take #1 trending i get few new readers but the amount of work remains the same (to post to reply) I can see how some might decide to drop the "less profitable" part altogether.
It's an entirely justifiable decision to move to a paid platform, people need to eat and it's practically necessary if an author wants to make their hobby a job.
To offer it for free beyond author benefit is a charity not everyone is capable and willing to afford and we would have no right to complain since we have no legal or moral right to the work.
